Fulton Sheen
BREAKING: The New York Supreme Court in a ruling today orders that Archbishop Fulton Sheen's body be moved to Petoria in accordance with the wishes of his niece Joan Sheen Cunningham. She has been in a court battle with the @NY_Arch over Sheen's remains. The transfer of Archbishop Sheen's body to Peoria should hasten his beatification--the last step to sainthood. The Peoria diocese started his cause for sainthood and is Sheen's home diocese. His body is presently in the crypt of @StPatsNYC.

America needs another Bishop Sheen.
ReplyDeleteWow that is kind of strange. I love Bishop Sheen and believe he is on the path to sainthood. I wonder why the Archbishop was fighting the family especially if moving it would hasten a path to sainthood. I know a lot of liberal priests, bishops, archbishops don't like what he had to say because he was unapologetic in defense of the traditional marriage, the family, communism, homosexuality and sexual ethics in general. You know what the Catholic Church and basically ALL major religions for the past 2,000 years have basically agreed are spiritual and natural laws but that our enlightened fools in the Church here seem to reject. And that gives nice cover to our own local turncoats who side with the enemies of the basic nuclear family and the Catholic Church. Fran likes to take blood money from abortion radical feminist groups. Just a fact.
ReplyDeleteJust what the catholic church needs, another saint to pray to, there are more saints then Hallmark has holidays.
