The pot calling the kettle black

I have been listening to Chris Kennedy placing the causes of our fiscal ills by labeling everything and everyone corrupt. My impression that he is a hypocrite in that he has failed to acknowledge the sins of his family, who has been tramping all around Chicago these past weeks, acting holier than thou. That family, having an incredible influence on Chris Kennedy's character, have made their history relevant and worthy of discussion.

  • Chappaquiddick,,, uncle Ted Kennedy, a sitting US senator who was married, was drunk when he drove his car off a bridge leaving his girlfriend trapped and eventually drown.  Instead of seeking help, he went back to his hotel and pretended nothing had happened.  Somehow this creep avoided prison time and was re-elected to the US Senate seven more times.
  • Merchandise Mart Building,,, one of the largest office buildings in the world purchased by the Kennedy family for peanuts in the 1930's. For years the Kennedys enjoyed the above market rent paid by the CTA and some of the lowest tax assessments in the city.  This being Chicago, I have to ask, how did that happen?
  • Additionally, over the years, there have numerous reports of crime, reckless behavior and constant displays of privileged arrogance by other members of his family.
Chris Kennedy describes himself as a businessman. Nothing could be further from the truth. In reality, the family placed him into management at the Mart because he needed something to do. Hard work and starting at the bottom did not apply to him. In fact, he was cuddled by MM management. His is now unseasoned, untested and hardly fit to be governor. The crap his family sold in Massachusetts simply does not sell that good here.

He should not be judged by his families failings.

  3. Hey everybody, news flash!! Murph the 4th doesn't like Chris Kennedy. Pray tell me Murph what is that makes Pritzker so appealing to you? As I said before,I don't care for him either, but what Uncle Teddy did 50 years ago should have absolutely no bearing on ones opinion of Kennedy.Shame of the matter is that Ives never received any proper backing from anyone and we'll be stuck so if I've got to be stuck with a Dem I'll take Kennedy over fat JB every day of the week and twice on Sunday. Let's face it Rauner ain't got a snow ball's chance in hell of getting re-elected. Unless by chance Rauner is sitting on more tape recordings of JB disparaging our black brothers

Don't forgot The domestic Violence Courthouse was supposed to go next to the Merchandise Mart but the Kennedy's who proclaim to love the "Underserved" fought it because they did not want the element it would bring around their property. As a result it was located in the west loop at an additional cost to the taxpayers of $15 Million Dollars.
