Ex con continues to play the role

Jesse Jackson Jr. seeks to unload $2M house amid unemployed wife's lifestyle: report

(FoxNews.com) - Embattled former U.S. Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. is asking a judge to allow the sale of the $2 million home where his estranged wife lives, saying he can no longer afford to support her lifestyle.
Recent court filings amid their divorce case claim Jackson Jr. is forking out $5,100 a month in alimony, school fees and voluntary payments to his children while Sandra Jackson refuses to pay the mortgage.
She opposes the sale of the property, according to the court filing.
Jackson Jr., who served time in prison for misusing campaign funds, was said last year to be $1.8 million in debt, with legal costs over their divorce only adding to the burden.
He draws $125,000 in taxpayer-funded annual workers’ compensation and disability payments and lives in Chicago, the Chicago Tribune reported.
Sandra Jackson, who also served time in prison, lives in the separated couple's Washington, D.C., house with their 14-year-old son and 17-year-old daughter, as well as her mother.
“Sandra is currently unemployed and has refused to obtain employment to financially contribute to the parties’ expenses or make efforts at becoming self-supporting,” read the filing to a Washington, D.C. court filing.
It says a second mortgage on the house is long overdue and Jackson Jr. “is receiving weekly calls from the lender” about a possible foreclosure.
The teenagers could temporarily move into another D.C. home owned by their grandfather, Jesse Jackson Sr., lawyers for Jackson Jr. said in the filing.
The Jackson's served federal prison time after using Jackson Jr.’s campaign fund for personal spending. In 2013, Jackson Jr. pleaded guilty to one felony fraud count in connection with his use of $750,000 in campaign money to pay for a spending spree, including vacations, luxury goods, celebrity memorabilia and other items, the New York Times reported.
“For years I lived off my campaign,” Jackson said in court in 2013. “I used money I shouldn’t have used for personal purposes.”
Sandra Jackson also pleaded guilty the same year to a charge that she filed fabricated income tax statements while her then-husband was using the campaign funds.
In an email to Fox News, Jackson Jr.’s lawyer Brendan Hammer said that his client “deeply regrets the necessity of selling the parties’ Washington home,” but “unfortunately, circumstances now demand it.
“The parties cannot maintain a luxury home and standard of living in 2018 as if this was 2008,” he said, noting that “their combined divorce related legal fees now exceed several hundred thousand dollars, and the parties’ eldest child will be attending college in the fall.”
He added: “Congressman Jackson also realizes that for far too long – he and Sandi attempted to maintain a lifestyle beyond their actual means. Attempting to sustain that lifestyle led to personal hubris and financial irresponsibility for which Jesse has taken responsibility and full ownership. “
The case is set to be heard in court April 13.

Black Democrats, just can't seem to get rid of them.
Lots of people that actually worked would love to have those unemployment benefits.
I wonder if Illinois voters will ever wake up?

Wonder who JJjr stuck up to get him a 2 million dollar mortgage. You'd think 2 geniuses like this would figure out they'd have to sell the place if neither of them had a job. Well, maybe not, there's probably a way they could mau-mau their way past the lending institution if Sr. has his way about it.

Its pretty interesting how the media portrays all these "special prosecutors" like Robert Mueller and Pat Fitzgerald as super straight shooters. In the case of Mueller and his band of Hillary contributing investigators, they've gone above and beyond the reasonable perimeters of finding Russian collusion while at the same time ignoring what was going on right underneath their noses in positions they once and currently hold. Mueller, as head of the FBI sat unmoved as Russian actors manipulated the Uranium 1 deal.

And most recently, the slew of Rauner commercials that feature Blago's conversations with JBlob. Blago wanted those same tapes played during his trial and was disallowed. Now they're being used in Republican commercials. What gives?

Watching the news this morning and the parade of political ads starts and here comes Pat Quinn, once described by Harold Washington as a nincompoop. Now he's asking for your vote for attorney general, pledging to fight Trump. As said before on this blog, some politicians are impossible to embarrass. This guy has a pair, asking for your vote after he pardoned the guy who tried to shoot three police officers. Yeah, he wants to protect us. Asswipe.

BJ Pritzker, Camelittle Kennedy, Biss the white Obama, all want to fight Trump. They will all push for more gun control! Is that what we are voting for? I WANT some sanity brought back to spending in this drunken state. We are a laughing stock nationally, and we are surrounded by Republican run states that are basically kicking our a$$.
