The problem with the Bears and Sox is ownership. Not the players, not the coaches, not middle level management...it is the OWNERSHIP. McCaskeys need to sell to an owner willing to take this team to the next level. Reinsdorf told his kids when he dies, "Sell the Sox, keep the Bulls." Why does he not do that now for crying out loud. I really thought more highly of Reindsdorf during the 2005 and of course the great 90s Bulls, but he has changed.
I still try to find the logic of the rental deal the Sox got for the new park being based on attendance and them keeping receipts for all concessions. Also, I disagree with somebody selling naming rights to a publicly owned and financed facility. Thats a real strange practice that should never have gotten through the legislature.
