The electorate has been described by our leaders as a "basket of deplorables", "garbage" and "scoundrels". Besides that, they do truly care.
Trust me when I tell you that this is the prevailing attitude among a majority of our political leaders. Dat's why they call them the "Elite" don't you know.

Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle was confronted by soda pop protesters last night while attending a fundraiser at Bourbon Street. She ordered that the protesters be removed. The Merrionnette Park police assisted by several off duty Cook County Sheriff deputies, gave the peaceful protesters "five minutes to clear out or else be arrested".
This is how the left operates. Force and the threat of force.
