U.S. President Donald Trump has announced he will nominate Christopher A. Wray as the new FBI director, Bloomberg News reports.
The president confirmed details on his Twitter account and said: “I will be nominating Christopher A. Wray, a man of impeccable credentials, to be the new Director of the FBI. Details to follow.”
Early History: Christopher Asher Wray was born in 1967. He graduated from Yale University in 1989 and received his law degree from Yale Law School in 1992. He then clerked for Judge J. Michael Luttig of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. In 1993, Mr. Wray started working in private practice in Atlanta, Georgia. In 1997, he joined the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Northern District of Georgia. In 2001, he served at Main Justice as an Associate Deputy Attorney General and, later, as Principal Associate Deputy Attorney General.
Tenure: In 2003, Mr. Wray was nominated by President George W. Bush as Assistant Attorney General in charge of the Criminal Division. He served in that position until 2005.
Later Career: After his service at the Department, Mr. Wray returned to private practice, specializing in white collar and internal investigations.
Just reading some stuff about the Dept of Justice under Eric Holder being slammed for knowing, bullshitting and stonewalling accountability with regards to the Customs border security agent who was murdered with one of the weapons from the Fast and Furious debacle under Obama. As you may recall, Obama withheld Holder's appearance before a congressional committee investigating Fast and Furious. Where were all the fricking sanctimonious democrats that let this travesty get swept under the carpet. Didn't this stonewalling empower people like Hillary and Obama to bullshit more when the Bengazi fiasco was blamed on an anti-Muslim video on YouTube? You look back on all this stuff and think to yourself the balls on these democrats to consistently lie to the American public and get the major media outlets to go along with them without muttering a word. And when it all comes to the forefront, you have leakers and spies hiding behind the 5th amendment. Those of you that follow this blog had better get your heads out of your ass the next time there's an election.
