Socialism has failed everywhere it has been tried, even the supposedly utopian Sweden. It doesn't work. Unfortunately it has become more popular among our millennials who are perfectly suited, emotionally, for this world view. "Give me what I deserve" is their self absorbed mantra. The roots to this generational outlook can be tied to the liberal education establishment. The typical CPS teacher is a liberal Democrat (quasi socialist). Too many people entrusted others to educate their kids with the mistaken belief that those educators held similar, rational points of view. They do not. It is time to begin a counter revolution in teaching.
And I bet they all get their kids college paid for by the government.
