Nice new housing development in Orland Park

Village fathers torn down Randy's Supermarket and other dilapidated buildings to clean things up.

They are having a very mean political contest out there right now. 19th ward operatives all over the place.

One of yours maybe but don't include "us" in your "ours". Democrats have screwed up Chicago so bad by adopting the leftist national Democrat/Communist platform and implementing it here in Chicago. We are now over taxed, over regulated, overly spied on, under policed. The necessary ingredients are now brewing for another Detroit. Meanwhile these Chicago Democrat dopes move on up and OUT of Chicago but cant help bring what they think is that old time Chicago Democrat Way with them. I hate shopping but was literally stunned when I went to Orland Square Mall recently. Looks like the old Evergreen Plaza. You can run but you cant hide.

SOC 101 from 30+ years ago in college once again comes to mind...the concentric zone theory wherein the inner city gentrifies and rebuilds and the out lying areas where those residents fled to becomes shit. Not in my lifetime again, but Englewood, Roseland, and surrounding neighborhoods were fine communities that I remember and grew up in back in the day.Reap what ye sow former residents now in what was farmland in orland, palos, and beyond. That photo above looks like move in day at..... (pick any state university).

Sadly, it always comes down to race.

Assimilation into the community, not very likely. But in fairness, who can blame them from wanting to get away from the shitty, crime infested neighborhoods they came from. Can Father Phleger be far behind?
