As a south sider I am a life long Sox fan, but also no Cub hater. Any Chicago team I will cheer for, except when the Sox play the Cubs. That being said, the White Sox are just floundering as an organization. I am no expert, but Ventura has to go. He never even really wanted this job and it shows. He has some strengths but cannot seem to snap a team out of a slump. Meanwhile the Cubs have probably the perfect manager. Also their whole system is better. I think if the Sox started a farm system like the Cubs have and got the best manager available, they could have more success.
