Report: Rape kit negative in Patrick Kane case
CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) - There’s been a major development in the rape allegations against Chicago Blackhawks star Patrick Kane.
There is no DNA evidence linking Kane to a sexual assault, according to a report.
The Buffalo News says a rape kit, did not reveal any of Kane's genetic material in the accuser's underwear or in her body.
The woman says Kane attacked her in August at his New York home. Legal experts say just because there's no DNA evidence, it does not necessarily mean an attack did not happen.
Kane has not been arrested or charged.
