The leading cause of death for Blacks is ...............

Ben Carson is disputing statistics from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention about the leading cause of death among blacks.
The CDC lists it as heart disease, followed by cancer, then strokes. Carson said the No. 1 killer among blacks is missing off the list: Abortion.
Thursday on Fox News, the 2016 presidential candidate was addressing controversy surrounding Planned Parenthood, and comments he made earlier in the week that the organization’s founder, Margaret Sanger, “was not particularly enamored with black people.”
He doubled down on it, saying “it is quite true that a majority of their clinics are in minority neighborhoods.”
After host Eric Bolling tossed around some abortion statistics, Carson responded by saying that 30 percent of abortions occur among black women, while blacks only make up 13 percent of the population.
“It brings up a very important issue, and that is, do those black lives matter?

“The number one cause of death for black people is abortion,” Carson said.

“I wonder if maybe some people might at some point might become concerned about
that and ask why is that happening and what can be done to alleviate that situation. I think that’s really the important question.”
It turns out, Carson is dead on about abortion being the leading killer among blacks — as long as you look past a technicality.
“The CDC would not list abortion at all, because legally the fetus is not considered a life. Therefore, there would be no listed death,” Carson’s campaign said in a statement, according to The Huffington Post.

The data

Regardless of whether or not you believe life begins at conception, there are some eye-popping numbers.
In 2011, 290,100 deaths among blacks were reported by the CDC. Of that, 91,862 came from heart disease.
That same year, 146,856 abortions were conducted on black women, accounting for 36.2 percent of that year’s overall total.

Leaders in Michigan have taken notice of these repeated accidents as soon as gas prices plummet in Whiting, Indiana. Where are our "leaders" at?

Murph, I propose we make a separate comment on this situation. I am so sick of the little guy finally getting a break on gas prices then this BP refinery has an accident(s) to cause a sudden surge in prices.
