Thanks to a special program set up by the feds you can expect road blocks up the ass this Memorial Day weekend. They will be looking for seat belts and DUI's. Watch out.
The federal funds used to fund this ... special program... should be allocated to making a single arrest in the five banks pleading guilty to currency market manipulation, costing billions upon billions. http://therealnews.com/t2/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=31&Itemid=74&jumival=13889
Yes. The "cops" pulling over people taking a break on Memorial Day weekend, a sacred weekend, should instead be trained and employed to investigate real criminals.
Fair sentiment, but a drunk on the road, who decides to get behind the wheel of his car after a day of partying on this "sacred weekend" and plows into a family on their way home from their weekend, killing them, is by definition, a criminal. If you were sent to the morgue to identify a loved one who was killed by irresponsible, dangerous behavior, I think you would consider that drunk driver a criminal. There are already people trained to go after white collar crime, and there is the DA and the Feds who COULD indict them, but there is no political will to do so. Obama has had seven years to prosecute the bankers - and he chose not to. And all the starry eyed Obama worshippers went to the polls after his fourth year and endorsed him - for four more years of inactivity. They supported him because of the impression, (a false one), that he cared about the average guy. Clearly, if you are objective - he doesn't.
