Catholic Democratic voters were sold down the river by the Kennedys when they concocted a scheme with the help of some clergy to justify abortion for Catholic politicians and fast forward 50 years later and other liberals have conned Catholic pols to embrace homosexuality. Fulton Sheehan warned us many years ago that Judas exists to this day. Forty years ago Judas Alinsky conned Catholic clergy and now Catholic laymen. That is why we have this current President. Nice Democratic talking point. Yes the problem with the Supreme Court is that Republican appointees sometimes turn liberal...or maybe they hid their liberal bias in order to be nominated. but don't worry....every Democrat appointed Supreme Ct Justice is doctrinaire liberal...why do they even listen to the arguments ...we already know how they will vote...look at the super liberal Jewish Ginsburg....she has OFFICIATED at "gay" weddings....she has NO business voting on this should it become necessary.....look at the "Wise Latina" Sotomayor.....she was working WITH the Obama Admin on strategy to get Obamacare passed.....she had NO business being on the Bench for that vote....yes we get stabbed in the back sometimes by our Appointees.....the Dems always follow their true religion.
On a more substantive note, Catholics have been liberal. Unions. 8-hour workdays. ... Two-hour lunches. You name it. Might have a good point on abortion, but this has been "played out" before.
Catholics will vote, I predict, as always, on the liberal side. Watch.
You didn't read the article obviously...the whole point is that there is a continuing trend where Catholics DONT support the Democrats...far less than before and getting worse....the problem? too many Democratic so called Catholics don't even believe their own church....those of my ancestry...those who were dragged out of their homes by the Orangemen in Ireland would rather be beaten to death than to betray their faith....nowadays it seems all you have to do is dangle a government job in front of some "Catholics" and they would sell their granny to be turned into dog food.
The pendelum swings both ways. A lot of voters are tired of the Harry Reid-Nancy Pelosi-Obama-Rama Drama. You don't have to watch Fox news to see what horrible shape our foreign policy (if that's what you call it) is in. That Catholic guilt we were raised with put this untried, unaccomplished goof in the White House. The arrogance and indifference to the Constitution and laws of the land, the disregard of checks and balances between the branches of government continues. The counsel POTUS seeks from the likes of Al Sharpton and his current Secretary of State is almost as talentless as his previous one. And anyone who raises any of these points, is painted by the media as a right wing zealot. If Obama wanted to do Chicago a favor, he'd stick his library in New York or better yet Hawaii. I can't wait to see how well Iran does in the current nuclear negotiations. Ted Cruz is looking better every day.
