Can Chuy pull it off?

The Challenger
The danger for Rahm in a runoff situation is that his vulnerabilities will be closely examined and eventually exploited. Expect a wild, hard hitting campaign, unlike anything we have had in years.  May the best man win.

Late January, Mike Joyce went over to the Garcia campaign. He has worked it day and nite and the results have shown. I'm with Chuy and Mike Joyce.

If only Tommy Dart had run this time, he would be mayor. He is kicking himself in the ass this morning.

Last summer Pickle tried real hard to get Dart to run. Pickle went with the next best thing.

Pics...is the REAL REASON why Chuy is in this thing, I know it now pits O'Shea and Pickles at odds, but Pickle was right in this call Rahm sold out our Police Fire and teachers and O'Shea still backs him? WTF!!!
pickle IS THE REAL POLICTAL GENIUS of the 19th ward and this proves it! ...sorry 19th ward democratic organization, but its true!
Michael worked his ass off for Chuy and when Chuy is our next Mayor pickle will be his right hand man.
Pickles wife is Mohammad Alies daughter, and mike has great ties to the African American community, pics will be able to use his African American family members to help deliver the Black vote to Chuy!
Chuy wins by 2 points in April.

Illegal immigrants will now have a chance at the few remaining jobs in Chicagoland. I don't know "Pickles" and never saw him on any ballot. Good for him. With that said, we will have the likes of LaRaza, and the immigration "reform" agents hijacking this campaign....and Pickles himself might come to regret giving this left wing coalition the reins of power. Think Obama. More illegals legalized and given status will just make it that much harder for hard working people in our Ward...Union and yes those who don't belong to unions but also work hard - and our kids - will have to compete with this - dare I say it - "invasion". I will hold my nose, my bladder, and lunch....and vote for the lesser of ALL the evils...and go for Rahm.

Maybe instead of holding your nose you should open your eyes. Rahm Emanuel was Obama's chief of staff. Last week Obama made a special trip to Chicago to endorse Emanuel. That is exactly 1 trip more he took to come to Chicago than he took to attend the funerals of any servicemen killed in action, police officers killed in the line of duty or innocent kids killed by gang bangers who couldn't shoot straight. Rahm has absolutely nothing in common with the hardworking people of our Ward. Wake up and get your facts straight.

All true...my only point was that of all the liberal - left leaning candidates....Rahm is the smartest, most accomplished, and basically most pragmatic of the bunch. There is nothing in Chuy's background that shows any prior record of pragmatism over far left liberalism. Supposedly Rahm was ousted from Obama's inner circle by the far leftists of which I speak. He wanted Obama to focus on the economy, not Obamacare. While you are correct in what you say, you did not refute or prove incorrect my "facts." We had a huge huge budget gap due to the crappy economy and bad deals made by Daley (Tollway, parking meters, etc...) Five hundred million dollars per year less in revenue. Rahm did a decent job of steering our city through this mess and kept the lights on, the streets clean, and most of us did not feel much in the way of changes. That is my only real point. Chuy is supported by the gang who did this to us in the first place. Maybe our disagreement is because of who we are. I am NOT a member of a govt or private sector union. I am an entrepreneur. I also did not get a "raise" of any kind during the recession/depression. If you are a city worker, Dem pol, Proud Union Home or otherwise tied to the status quo in Chicago, then no wonder you support Chuy. He is closely aligned with LaRaza and other far left immigration activists. That is true. It is also true that legalizing the probably 500,000 in our city right now does not bode well for the vast majority of our citizens. And I stand by my statement that this will hurt the average worker, our kids and grand children.

I do not think Jesus will win the general election. Yes the Hispanic community will be mobilized but they are less than 1/3 of the voters. Turning the city over to the Hispanics right now would be a mistake. "Chuy" sounds just like a Wall Street Protester. He is Karen Lewis with a porno mustache. A complete lefty who would fit in perfectly with some Central American Dictatorship like Chavez. But maybe that is what the 19th Ward Unionists want. I predict the blacks will feel safer with Obamas guy Rahm. The 19th Ward machine...or what is left of it..."Skinny" or whoever....will ultimately turn the wrath of Rahm on our Ward. Chuy is once again telling all the Union people that they will be back in the driver seat - which is how we got in this crap mess in the first place. To me Rahm was just the smartest and most experienced of the array of vaious liberals we were offered a choice from....And in my opinion he was the most pragmatic. I posted this elsewhere but thought it applies here too. You are not refuting what I posted. Jesus - "Chuy" is in fact backed by the far left. Whether Obama is also a jerk does not change my facts. I do not like Rahm either. I just am voting for who I think is the least objectionable. If you like LaRaza and the illegals pouring in then by all means support Chuy. These people do not care about the "Gringos". I think you need to wake up to the fact that the guy you support is NOT who you think he is. You sound like an Obama supporter from 2008. Yes I know his name is "Jesus" - but he is not OUR Messiah.

Guess you would be tagging along for the ride. He will be sitting on some circuit court bench or something in a few years if he is lucky. There are a lot of problems brewing in The Sheriffs Office right now...he wont be able to keep the lid on these problems forever. I have not met any Sheriff who likes this guy....that tells me all I need to know.
