This is weird

Watching WLS TV last week, I saw WLS extending "Happy Hanukkah" greetings. Fair enough. Why not?

I was watching WLS yesterday, Christmas Day, and WLS was extending "Seasons Greetings".

Am I missing something here? Considering 80% of the population celebrates Christmas, why wouldn't they wish everyone Merry Christmas? Why wouldn't they give Christmas the same respect they give Hanukkah?

Hey, do you ever notice when they broadcast the St. Patrick's Day parade, its usually Sunday night at 10:30 PM? Bud Biliken and the Puerto Rican day parades are broadcast live.

do what we do say "merry christmas.the Missiah is born" get a lot of smiles from people to be sure...

The theme of this blog has changed. We are now headed into a period of extreme political and economic troubles. We want to increase everyone's awareness and show them how to weather the storm. We are going to begin including articles and videos on prepping (food, water, shelter, medicine, self-defense,) basic economics and general SHTF lifestyle changes.

I am not going to be critical of 19th ward politicians. They tend to do the best job they can with very limited resources, and don't need to be beaten up. In fact, people should be helping them as they are among the last "normal" leaders in Illinois.

I am keeping the 19th Ward Chicago name because of the rich blog history going back to 2010 and because there is a ready-made base of similar-thinking readers. For now on, the 19th Ward of Chicago will be mainly a point of reference, an observation deck if you will. A place where allot of good-natured, normal-thinking people still live and can safely view the dysfunction overtaking America. Write whatever you want about whatever or whomever you want. Just keep it true and not vulgar.

At all times, we am going to comply with Blogspot's community standards. We have seen what happens when there is not such compliance.

We will never publish threats of physical violence or baseless attacks on people or institutions.
