Some of these people are very good. Without going into specifics, some of them are complete idiots. If Rauner is going to succeed, he needs to get away from anyone with idiotic tendencies or a questionable history.
First of all his list is comprised of some prominent REPUBLICANS. I recommend that we give him say a couple of weeks after he just ran in order to criticize him. These people are from many and all walks of life. A good Executive gets input from all sides, including those he may or may not agree with. A good Executive will listen to his opponents. After all, everyone has a different perspective and just because they may not agree with yours, does not mean they don't have some element of truth to their ideas. I say give him a few months AFTER he has been actually sworn in before we jump on him. He was elected mainly to get the economy and business going again in this state. He seems to have a broad perspective of ideas from which to make some changes.
ReplyDeleteBill Daley and Huberman? Are you serious? Both of these guys are part of the cause of the problem. They have no business on that board. The board should have been top heavy with business people and economist. Hardly any.
ReplyDeleteThe Daleys keep getting non-bid contracts for themselves and their friends. Even after you get rid of them to virus continues to infect, spread, and cost resources.
ReplyDeleteat least he has a few savy business men on board that know moey, thats a good start also some jobs with state will be opening up under his admin.that were previously closed to the unannoited and hopefully will be fair.
