Chicago, IL-- There has been a spike in Red-light photo enforced tickets that were given erroneously to thousands of drivers. The question raised is the accuracy and the management of the surveillance of the surveillance system. Red-Flex was a nightmare to many motorists and a debacle and there should be some accountability and a thorough investigation on them.
The Red-light camera program is the nation largest with 352 cameras at 174 intersections. Activist Raul Montes, Jr. questions the accuracy and calibration of the cameras. On Wednesday, activists and residents will protest at an intersection that is known to give tickets erroneously.
