Chicago Public Schools and the city’s public health department will be expanding a pilot program to make condoms available to high school students to 24 schools this fall as part of an ongoing effort to combat teen pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases among young people.
School officials said currently condoms are available at two district schools—Collins High School and Foreman High School.
The district will be working with the Chicago Department of Public Health to identify which 24 schools will get the condoms, but CPS spokeswoman Lauren Huffman said it is ultimately up to each principal to decide whether condoms will be available in their school building.
I am all for it. anything that prevents abortions and future Democrats is a plus for civilization.
ReplyDeleteI would be willing to give them condoms to cover their entire head!!!!!!!
ReplyDeletei would like to see tommy dart and rest of the sick narrow backs in the 19th ward wear them over their heads and walk around western ave like the ding dongs they really are,
ReplyDeleteWell we gave principals more discretion 20 some odd years ago and the schools continued to slide into oblivion. Ask any principal of an education philosophy and you will have an instant comedy act. Education simply does not exist in these places and it is because of progressive policies like this condom silliness. This is not new. Some 10 yrs ago or so PE teachers were trained with bananas
ReplyDeleteat an in -service. One of these days the public will wake up and demand private school vouchers at a generous level and I would urge increased pressure to improve private schools. Trust me they need help as well but the best option. Until 100 years ago or so the home was the primary source of education.
