OBAMACARE INCLUDES LITTLE KNOWN 3.8% REAL ESTATE SALES TAX AND MOST OF YOU ARE GOING TO PAY IT.
If you're making more than $200,000 per year and you sell your home next year, a little-known provision within the Affordable Care Act may cost you thousands of dollars. Within ACA language is a 3.8% federal tax that home sellers will pay directly to subsidize Obamacare - and it's another problem that young professionals are discovering in the Democrats' plan to redistribute wealth in America.
While this discussion is focused on a New Jersey zip code, there's plenty of similar zip codes in the Chicago area - especially the huber-rich Gold Coast, Beverly and elite northern suburbs - where ObamaCare's new tax will cost "wealthy" home sellers starting in 2014. DeleteSpeaking of homes, there are roughly 19 million VACANT or forced empty homes in the United States; that is enough to provide six (6) to every homeless person.
ReplyDeleteWhat is your point. Those homes are vacant mostly due to the prior owners being unable to pay back the loan they promised to pay back to their lender. As a result the lender takes back ownership of the home in order to recoup the loss on the money given to the seller on day one. You cant just take someone elses property to give to another person YOU decide deserves it. Oh wait in Obamas Socialist Paradise maybe you can. Why don't you start by giving your house to someone who needs it. Talk talk talk with an air of moral superiority. We need JOBS not confiscation of other peoples property. They tried that in many parts of the world....it was called Communism. It didn't work out to well

ReplyDeleteYeah that is good. It will really help the thousands of people sell their homes in the County alone. We need more road blocks to a weak recovery in the Real Estate and Housing markets like this one. It will just make home ownership at least 3.8% LESS affordable to buyers and sellers. The buyer will pay this TAX. Once again the answer by liberals is MORE taxes. The Real Estate market is still only 40% of what it once was.....50 percent of workers in this field LEFT because they could not make a living. The home building industry (which you probably hate but which provides a lot of union jobs) is barely back to 33% of what it once was.....but yeah I think you hit the nail on the head.....a NEW additional tax would be GOOD....just what we need
