111th & Homan looks worse than anything in the ghetto

Take a look at the NE corner of 111th and Homan. It's a parking lot owned by the Postal Service and it looks the part. A dead tree, weeds and bushes that have not been trimmed.

To top it off, some postal employee sprayed some weed killer on half the weeds and ignored the other half of the weeds. It looks like crap. All of this on a main business artery and right next to a church. I get the feeling that in true postal service fashion, nobody cares.

Can someone call a congressman or whomever is in charge of this agency and get this parking lot cleaned up. This lot is in the heart of Mount Greenwood and needs to be maintained. If they can't take care of this parking lot they should donate it to the adjacent church.

When they knocked down the pizza joint they promised they would maintain the parking lot.

The property at the Morgan Park post office is the same. Tall weeds. Obviously somebody is cutting the landscaping services in an attempt to save money. The State of Illinois has been doing the same thing with their properties.

This can be fixed. Everyone should call congressman Lipinski's office.

Instead of whining why not just get some rakes and brooms and clean it up? It's democrat parasite thinking that wants "someone" to fix it. Get off your whining dead ass and fix it!

O'Shea raised everyones taxes on 111th street with his SSA. He should use that money, or is it being sent downtown to build DePaul Center at McCormack like a bunch of TIF money.

Agreed. The corner of 111th and Homan is an eye sour.
Sure, Walgreens and Dunkin Donuts the corner of a 111th and Kedize, however, the funding for both sites would be the business, not our tax payer dollars. Certainly, more can be done to improve the appearance of 111th street.

No reason for any of the filth in Mt. Greenwood to be happening. Just look at the Alleys, garbage, debris, rats, junk everywhApartment buildings and Condo Buildings overflowing with garbage, in violation of City Code, nothing done about it by lazy, corrupt Democrats who are too busy stealing White, Middle Class Taxpayer Dollars, and charging them for non-service.
