Quinn has got to go.

QUINN ENCOURAGES USE OF TAXPAYER-FUNDED LINK CARDS

CHICAGO – Governor Pat Quinn (D) is encouraging Illinoisans to use of the state's LINK card programs as a way of stimulating the Illinois economy.

According to the Governor, the taxpayer-funded state food stamp program "invests back into local economies." Presumably through a government-controlled weath transfer system that takes taxes from working families and redistributes them to individuals specified by the state government.

Quinn's announcement came as part of a coupon program LINK is currently running.

Just a another politician aiming for the low lying fruit. No

leadership whatsoever. Pension crisis? What pension crisis?

Just use your link card, everything will be ok.

The theme of this blog has changed. We are now headed into a period of extreme political and economic troubles. We want to increase everyone's awareness and show them how to weather the storm. We are going to begin including articles and videos on prepping (food, water, shelter, medicine, self-defense,) basic economics and general SHTF lifestyle changes.

I am not going to be critical of 19th ward politicians. They tend to do the best job they can with very limited resources, and don't need to be beaten up. In fact, people should be helping them as they are among the last "normal" leaders in Illinois.

I am keeping the 19th Ward Chicago name because of the rich blog history going back to 2010 and because there is a ready-made base of similar-thinking readers. For now on, the 19th Ward of Chicago will be mainly a point of reference, an observation deck if you will. A place where allot of good-natured, normal-thinking people still live and can safely view the dysfunction overtaking America. Write whatever you want about whatever or whomever you want. Just keep it true and not vulgar.

At all times, we am going to comply with Blogspot's community standards. We have seen what happens when there is not such compliance.

We will never publish threats of physical violence or baseless attacks on people or institutions.
