Brian Urlacher Insulted

The poor guy slaves for the Bears for 13 seasons and what do they do? They "slap him across the face" and offer him a measly $2,000,000 for the next season. Those bastards. They should be made to pay him $5,000,000 just for the insult. The poor guy.

    I thought the same thing. We have become this economically divided society in which, for some, 2 million is measly. And, for the rest of us, we are left to struggle as we get degraded---stagnant wages, higher cost-of-living, etc.---from middle class to working class. Then, you get really goofy---and I mean GOOFY!---fiscal (tax) policies such as eliminating the estate tax in 2010. Today, the exemption is 5.25 (double that if you use marital deduction). How many people do you know have estates of 10.5 when they die? That does not even touch the use of "charitable" trusts to reduce an estate size.


    I think it is worse for the middle class, though. The greatest "asset," the home, has been decimated. Worse, some have been dispossessed, through fraud or otherwise, of their greatest asset.


    You have celebrities losing in one night over 100k in diamonds like it is nothing and working class people utterly convinced that food stamps and school lunches are causing bankruptcy. It is a revenue problem - big time. Spending is a hug problem as well, but it is not the school lunches or food stamps.


    Actually, I think Pope Francis, God willing, will bring a lot of attention to the plight of the poor. I hope so. The Church, and indeed the world itself, needs a spiritual leader who is humble but also aware of the real world today.

      Eat the rich !?? IF I make a million a year I do not want the government to take 40 percent. I did 100 percenet of the effort and Washington did little or nothing to help (OR their obnoxious regulations tripped me up along the way) And if I saved a million over my entire life of hard work and taxes paid I do not want the government to take 40% in inheritance taxes...Why should the govt get as much as my kids? They already got their taxes on those dollars...greedy bastard government and hands out loafers...screw you ! STOP link cards for those who will not take drug/alcohol tests and for the lazy loafing liquor store hangabouts...takin money from the truly needy and giving it to dirt bags and illegals....this is by design folks do not kid yourselves....

    Would you keep a car that only drove straight ahead or backwards.

    Looked on the website and they do have a lot of classes. Also looked to see who is running the art center and found it's run by two woman.
