Do our leaders know this?

JAMES CARVILLE SAYS 80% OF DEMOCRATS ARE POLITICALLY CLUELESS

From Clash Daily -
James Carville, Democrat political consultant extraordinaire – and former Bill Clinton campaign manager, has astonishingly come out and said what all good Republicans have known for decades: Not only are most Democrats politically clueless; they’re easily manipulated by the puppet masters of their party as well. Wow. James Freaking Carville. Of all people. Here’s an excerpt, as quoted on Amazon.com:
“Ideologies aren’t all that important. What’s important is psychology.
The Democratic constituency is just like a herd of cows. All you have to do is lay out enough silage and they come running. That’s why I became an operative working with Democrats. With Democrats all you have to do is make a lot of noise, lay out the hay, and be ready to use the ole cattle prod in case a few want to bolt the herd.
Eighty percent of the people who call themselves Democrats don’t have a clue as to political reality.
What amazes me is that you could take a group of people who are hard workers and convince them that they should support social programs that were the exact opposite of their own personal convictions. Put a little fear here and there and you can get people to vote any way you want.
The voter is basically dumb and lazy. The reason I became a Democratic operative instead of a Republican was because there were more Democrats that didn’t have a clue than there were Republicans.
Truth is relative. Truth is what you can make the voter believe is the truth. If you’re smart enough, truth is what you make the voter think it is. That’s why I’m a Democrat. I can make the Democratic voters think whatever I want them to.”

My suspicion is that you have been duped, murph. I do not have the time right now to verify or disprove the quote.

But it seems like something that would have been started to make 80% of Republicans fall for it like cattle.

I have a feeling, just a suspicion, that it is false.

  2. I posted this because I found it to be a rather vicious characterization of a group of people. I have no reason to believe it is true.

I really believe that mainly people voted more for Democrats this time is that they were convinced of so much that is just not true about the state of our country, and also what it is Republicans stand for. We will have to do a better job of explaining, (sometimes from scratch), what our beliefs are based on. Free enterprise, freedom, limited government, our national defense and the threats to our safety and security that we see. This is the time to stand up and try to convince others of why we believe that traditionalism is the best policy - for everyone !

2/3 of millionaires left Britain to avoid 50% tax rate - Telegraph.

Republicans lead the best run states in America, Democrats dominate the worst- WSJ

What a sarcastic thing to say about fellow Democrats.. I’m very informed that is why I voted for Fran Hurley.

Of course they are clueless. The 19th ward regulars and irregulars still think that the ward organization is an employment agency. The ward is nothing more than a collection of retirees who would be well advised to monitor the GA these days because your annuity is toast in 5 to 10. A'int nobody gonna get a clout job unless you can get real tight.
