Dart lawsuit

According to the other 19th ward blog and WBBM-TV, a federal court has entered a $1.5 million judgement against Sheriff Tom Dart for taking political retribution against 21 Sheriff's Dept. employees. This is a very serious and dire development. Much more will be written about this during the next few days and weeks. Dart says he will appeal.

  1. This is only the tip of the iceberg for this Administration. Numerous other lawsuits are pending. Dart's narcissistic tactics are going to be his downfall. Any update on the Maher suit?

How about the three officers who were fired while the famous Supt. got days. The complaint was toward the Supt. not the officers, no proof that they worked there. Political ????? Dart ruined three lives just because he could. well see next week when the judge rules on that case.. it should be intresting.....

Yes, I am -- in my corporate suite, which taxpayers are also paying for. Just returned from overseas, checking out the new factory, provided courtesy of American taxpayers also. It's a good life.

The Chicago Federation of Labor sent out Proud Union Household posters for union members to stick in their windows. The 19th warders are to embarrassed to put up posters even though they have more union members than anyone else in the city. They want the money and benefits but are too good to support the organizations that have helped secure the food that will be on their table tonight.

Of course he will appeal. Thats his M/O. The county will pay that bag of shit Pettiford (inmate) 300,000 plus, but they will appeal when the little guy (officers) challenge and win. you think thats funny, you should see the promotions to Sgt that happened this last week. 15-20 year veterans got passed over for little I/T geeks that never workred a day in the jail. This is CLASSIC Tom Dartness at it's finest. I hope his dog dies.
