Safety Hazard

Where are the tree people?
I am wondering what does it take to get city of Chicago officials to do their job. On the NE corner of 103 and Fairfield stands an old tree. Its been dead for some time now and is ready to start dropping it's branches onto the children (hundreds of them) that pass under it everyday on their way to the nearby St. John Fisher School.

What is most troubling is how could officials ignore such an obvious danger?

All they do is read the paper, talk about lunch and their pensions.

They are too buy promoting nerf football and the Turkey Trot to take care of any real work.

It's not nice to beat up on us city workers. Don't you know we are still not done with our SunTimes and coffee.

No see that is exactly the point...there is a real DIFFERENCE.....sure you may be able to read a little of the paper for a few minutes in the am and drink an extra cup of coffee, but in the private sector you had better get your a** to work pretty soon and oh yeah, whatever you were supposed to get done that day...you better or you will be fired. If you worked for me on the clock and I saw your lazy a** stealing from my pocket I would fire you... the public sector gets away with Murder...we see you and what you do at work or more importantly what you don't do....and we're kind of getting sick of supporting lazy people! The gravy train is OVER!

I agree. I have worked in both: private and public sectors.

The private sector is no joke. And, these days, the pay and benefits are less in the private sector.

Huge meeting to place at kens tonight. Four huge (political)hitters seen eating with one member of a connected family of the 19th ward. The political environment is going to change fast-hang on.

Let me guess what member of what family that would be. Is it someone that likes to pretend he is behind the scenes?

Excuse me but JJ does not have to pretend he is behind the scenes because he is behind the scenes, and everyone knows it. The only normal one out there.

I called the ward office about 16 months ago to have my trees trimmed. The ward office told me the city was a year behind. 16 months later my trees are still not trimmed.
