Mitt Romney

He called it the way it is. The economy is screwed by the incompetence of our leader.

TAMPA, Florida (Reuters) - Republican Mitt Romney urged voters on Thursday to help him rebuild the U.S. economy and create millions of new jobs, asking them to overcome their disappointment in President Barack Obama and join him in restoring the promise of America.

In a high-stakes speech accepting the Republican presidential nomination, Romney said he would work to unify a divided country that believed Obama's lofty campaign promises but had lost hope they would be fulfilled.

  1. Yep. Mitt will "provide" jobs -- for his fellow classmen. Can't wait for the new India.

It was so clear from the information provided by those who know Mitt best as well as the factual record - that he is unbelievably competent and has succeeded in virtually everything he has ever done...If we had him four years ago we would actually be in a true recovery by now. The Democrats have done nothing but assault this guy who as he said himself - was born in the middle of the century, in the middle of the country....he has more character in his well groomed head than Obama has in his puny nerd body.....

Obama has provided alot of jobs for his classmates - the ones who stayed in the classroom their entire lives....the pipe smoking weird beards of academia....egghead intellectuals who couldn't park a bicycle straight! This convention was the beginning of he end for Obama ! Thank God all my union tradesmen friends and neighbors may actually have a chance for some work under Romney !

Hey, how come Kennedy had to give a major campaign speech because he was a Catholic, and Obama had to give a major campaign speech because of Jeremiah Wright, but Romney has to do nothing because he's a Mormon? Where's the press, and the pressure?

The economy is screwed up by all the Presidents back to and including Nixon. It would take 50 years to see an improvement.

Rome is about 1/2 burnt right now..Nero needs new strings on his fiddle.

Some blogger does not understand that giving the readers of this blog a link to a moveon web site of liberal propaganda is not what anyone HERE is interested in. We listen almost daily to the liberal tv., liberal actors, liberal movies, liberal teachers, liberal local, city and state Democrats, liberal newspapers, on and on....trying to tell us that night is day! That is why we come to this blog fool. Apparently like a typical liberal you assume you are smarter than all of us and have found the "truth". I will tell you what truth is - huge unemployment in our ward, huge foreclosures in our ward and the devastation of families that goes with it...I know you will tell us your answer "it's Bushes fault". Beverly used to have middle of the road politicians...but like the rest of the Democrat party , they have become a bunch of conspiracy theory traditional America hatin socialists. For those liberal Democrats talking to your neighber as you wax your 40k truck on your "personal day" as you tell us about how bad you have it and how great the Democrats are...maybe you should wonder why we are just smiling and nodding...(hint: we hate what you are telling us and disagree completely). another hint: just shut up and cash your cushy pay check...meanwhile we organize for the resistance.....

I dont know about you but I have been getting "the treatment" recently from some of my brainwashed union neighbors and friends with their little comments designed by the union propagandists to try to "sway the undecideds". They think we are fools - and maybe we are for not jumping on the government gravy train bandwagon....

Romney created over 90,000 jobs just at one company !! That is as many or more than the entire United States of America created in some months of the "summer of recovery" - (as referenced two years ago according to Joe foot in mouth Biden). One month CANADA actually created more jobs than our entire country. Obama has failed just as spending your way to prosperity fails and just as socialism fails everywhere it has ever been tried!!!! p.s. please dont say what about Swedent because that country is nothing like ours except that even they are revisiting their wacky socialist programs that encourage laziness and idleness!!!

The real battle for control of the country is not Republican versus Democrat; it is Ruling Class elitist versus Citizens. Both parties push big government so they can line their pockets and secure their position at our expense. Voters are so blinded by party and union loyalty that they don't see the dangers of the politicians they elect. Unless government returns to be the servant of the people, it will continue to roll over the very people who elect it.

Very valid points. However right noe it is a simple choice of one Democrat - Obama - who has added more debt, regulation, and government control in one 4 year period than most of ALL Presidents combined. He is by far the worst of the two choices. AT least Romney has a history of getting large organizations right sided, and at least has controlled spending (and that was in Massachusetts a very liberal mostly Democrat controlled state). At least Romney has serious credentials and the proven competence to be successful. I agree that the Republicans became big spenders but NOTHING compares to Obama. Now is not the all or nothing option.

    2. That's it in a nutshell. Unless the money goes, the government goes. I am not voting for Obama in Illinois.

Exactly: Ruling Class elite v. Citizens.

THAT is what I have been trying to say.
