It was a great place to go. |
Recently we lost a very good restaurant. As it is a serious loss for the neighborhood, I wonder what really happened. The BR reported that landlord raised their rent after a deal to purchase the building fell through. Does anyone out there know what the real facts are?
Rather than post possible reasons here, email me.
Lanlord should not be blamed for this. He is a good man who has done much for our neighborhood.
ReplyDeleteA combo of the residents not supporting the joint and poor business practices. Simple as that. The food was great.
ReplyDeleteAllowing a Subway franchise to go in on the block didn't help matters much.
ReplyDeleteGotta admit I did not ever go there....I do agree however with the prior post that their business practices were not that great. I do not understand how these little guys do not properly market themselves to the community. I am going to go shop somewhere local today ! Try Bookies for great prices AND they can order books new. I have gotten some school books there too! I want to thank the blogger again for trying to promote our local people....if you stop to think about it the TIME and GAS you save shopping local more than makes up for some prices that may be higher in certain cases.
