Let's ask our Cook County Commissioner John Daley |
- There have been thousands of layoffs in numerous departments.
- Tax revenues are way down.
- Suburban courthouses are going to be closed on the weekends.
- Now you have to pay for parking at those courthouses.
- Has anyone noticed the recent, very quite migration of City of Chicago employees to the Cook County, Cook County Health Services and the Cook County Forest Preserve payrolls? About a dozen of them so far. A few of them even got county cars. All of them related to a certain political family. What would Michael Shakman say? Why is this happening when so many others are being laid off?
What political family are you talking about?
ReplyDeletewho cares what family. these rats are connected and will always keep taking because they truly believe they have the right to do just that.
ReplyDeletethe rats always abandon the ship first . these slugs have been feeding at the trough for so long they can't leave. there is never enough for these vermin.....
ReplyDeleteWhy dont we start with the 20 lawyers on Tom Darts payroll who do absolutly nothing. There is 2.4 million right there.
ReplyDeleteBusiness as usual.
ReplyDeletethats why rahm wants to raise water rates, the 11th ward is well represented in the water department, just saying.
ReplyDeleteAs I said a few years ago..
ReplyDeleteA good slogan for the 19th ward would be
The 19th ward.. "Politics for the Chosen"
or "I got mine you get your own"
Ed on Mondays Nights
I was reading on the other 19th ward blog that Sheriff Dart wants inmates to build the coffins for the County Morgue. Tell me this is a joke.
ReplyDeleteCook County Sheriff Tom Dart investigated the horrible burial conditions at Burr Oak Cemetary. .
Using what they learned from Burr Oak, Dart said his office would take over the burial function and move bodies out of the morgue quicker. He also said inmates could be responsible for making the coffins
Not only did he have this hair brained idea... he has also now confirmed that the Drill Instructors at Boot Camp will be raising tilapia. WHAT A WASTE OF TAX PAYER $$$!!!
DeleteJudgeing from the pic it could be the Daleys
ReplyDeletebut it could be the Hyneseses
or the Ruguys but the ruguys could never get 12 jobs.
mayybe its the Joyces,
Or the Sheahans, but I hope not because, they are pretty decent people.
After that I dont know but I think someone is going to jail.
I know its off topic. What is going on with the Home Run Inn on Western? There has been no activity for awhile.
ReplyDeleteI noticed that too. Also there has been no activity at Franconella's. I wonder if anyone can tell us what they have heard about these two restaurants. Hopefully we can get the word out about this blog and others similar that talk openly about what is happening. While I do think the Beverly Review can be helpful, it is still a politically aligned (Democrat, Obama for re-election Editorials in Dec of 2011) paper. Thanks blogger for sticking your neck out to provide readers with some uncensored information...
ReplyDeleteHOME RUN PIZZA IS HAVING MINOR CONSTRUCTION ISSUES. THEY WILL BE OK
DeleteFRANCONELLO'S MAY NOT REOPEN. STRUCTURAL PROBLEMS AND INSURANCE PROBLEMS. THE PLACE NEEDS TO BE REBUILT. THE CURRENT ECONOMY WON'T SUPPORT THAT. IT'S A MAJOR LOSS FOR OUR NEIGHBORHOOD.
