What is the most compelling issue facing Alderman O'Shea?

Matt O'Shea

Don't say police protection. That's a given and I am tired of hearing about it. You can bet that O'Shea is doing everything in his power to enhance our protection. Honestly? It's probably quite adequate right now.

Do you think schools, parks, taxes, business strips? What should he do?

The most compelling issue facing O'Shea is the same issue facing all of us: Barack Hussein Obama. Can America survive until 2012 with Obama in the White House?

I would say... HEY JACKASS, smile when you take a promotional photo. You look like your passing gas in that photo.

I would say that the Alderman needs to look at commercial property and ensure that it remains just that. No churches ,village centers or any other organizations that do not contribute to the tax base of the neighborhood. Also any business such as the Borders Books that recently closed will have to repay any TIF or tax incentives given if they decide to close. I firmly believe that lifting the alcohol ban in parts of the ward will attract much needed eateries and specialty shops and the ban would strengthen the businesses that already struggle to compete with nearby suburbs.
