Senator Ed "Horseshoes" Maloney maintains the finest tradition of the 19th Ward

Pension King Maloney
Our state senator Ed Maloney has the good fortune of being eligible to receive 4 government  pensions plus his wife's government pensions plus social security. The money stacks up as follows.
  • Chicago Park District Pension
  • Oak Lawn High School Pension
  • Illinois House of Representatives Pension
  • Illinois State Senate Pension
plus, his wife gets  pensions as follows.
  • Chicago Board of Education Pension
  • Cook County Pension
plus, both of them qualify for social security benefits via their concurrent (side jobs) employment with Brother Rice High School and the 19th Ward Regular Democratic Organization.

At least 2 of these pensions are Defined Pensions, meaning that in the event of bankruptcy, he still gets his. Total take once he leaves office? Over $200,000.00 every year. How about that for public service?
