DECATUR, IL - If you thought former Texas governor Rick Perry's announcement Thursday brought the list of GOP White House wannabes up to 10, you're mistaken. There are 11 as of this week.
A mom of 12, Oakley's Sherry Procarione declared her 2016 Republican bid for the presidency in Decatur, Illinois. While she ran for U.S. Senate in 2014, she's never held public office, but says she'll "bring a freshness to the political process."
While information about Sherry Procarione is sparse on the internet, a 2013 story in The Southern mentions her willingness to speak out in favor of fracking in southern Illinois.
However, only one speaker during the hearing openly supported fracking. Randomly chosen speakers from those who signed up wanting to talk were given four minutes to make comments and were asked to submit the rest of their comments in writing.
Sherry Procarione of Oakley plans to run for U.S. Senate as a Republican write-in candidate. She favors fracking in as many places as possible and said the others were presenting misinformation.
The jobs created by fracking operations could provide an economic boost to areas with high unemployment such as Decatur, Procarione said.
Landowners should be given the fundamental right to choose what happens on their property and have the ability to contract privately, Procarione said.

Lindsey Graham's first "rotating" First Lady? perhaps second rotating First Lady after John McCain? Did that just slip?

Not the onion, and I have no idea if this is on reddit as nottheonion, headline: [100 Percent Heterosexual Republic] Sen. Lindsey Graham: If President, I'll Have a 'Rotating First Lady.'

... these Christian-right republicans terrify me.
