The electorate has been described by our leaders as a "basket of deplorables", "garbage" and "scoundrels". Besides that, they do truly care.
Trust me when I tell you that this is the prevailing attitude among a majority of our political leaders. Dat's why they call them the "Elite" don't you know.

Koda is no more!
Closed Wednesday night for the last time. A serious loss for the neighborhood.
A serious loss for the neighborhood. Kick bricks. That place served small portions for an insane amount of money and made you think you were dining at an upscale restaurant. Move back to the northside.
I thought the food was good. The problem there was that management failed to make the course corrections necessary to adjust to the wants of the neighborhood. People gave him a chance and sensed his inability to react. That was it.
Fine food and drink takes a hit. Additionally, the dining room was quiet, the atmosphere leisurely, unlike any of the other fine restaurants in our area. Why can't this neighborhood support a restaurant like Koda? Cafe 103 and now Koda. Steak and Italian doesn't always do it for me.
We recently lost Turkey Time on 95th Street also, but at least the new Harold's Chicken Shack on 95th is doing swell.

ReplyDeleteThey had no money to renew their liquor license.
ReplyDeleteI hope they have a "wouty melon" truck parked out in front of Harold's.
ReplyDeleteThe food sucked period!
