County Board approves property tax relief plan, extension of disaster proclamation giving Preckwinkle emergency powers
There is no plan. They waived late fees and nothing else. It's all BS.
This is fake news for low-information voters. Meanwhile, they have refused to furlough thousands of county workers that have been sitting at home for 9 weeks and instead are going to be looking for a tax increase.
Workers should have been furloughed. Money in the budget should have been reallocated. Instead, State and County officials are depending on "the feds" for a bailout. They don't realize that ultimately money from "the feds" comes from US. It is OUR tax money.
ReplyDeleteThe assessment on my house went up by $50,000 we are preparing a class action lawsuit against Cook County seems like the biggest increases went to those who are registered Republicans!
ReplyDeleteYou need to move to a Republican run state and leave this democrat shy hole behind.
DeleteMaybe the registered Republicans just have the nicest houses?
