Marjorie Taylor Greene was right. Yes, scientists do control the weather.

But as the old saying goes- “In a time of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act.”

After Representative Greene tweeted a simple and accurate statement last week regarding weather manipulation, the mainstream media went on autopilot mode, calling her an “unhinged conspiracy theorist”.

Yes they can control the weather.

A community note was added to Rep. Greene’s tweet, stating, “While small-scale ‘cloud seeding’ to create localized rain is possible, hurricanes and other large storms cannot be produced with modern technology.”

Interestingly, even this note acknowledges that weather can, in fact, be manipulated—proving Greene’s point. Rep. Greene didn’t specifically mention hurricanes in her tweet; instead, she broadly suggested that scientists have the ability to influence weather patterns.

Despite some reactions dismissing her claims as conspiracy, research into weather modification, including techniques like cloud seeding and other geoengineering efforts, has been well-documented over the years.

CARBONDALE, Ill. — The 2024 "Great American Eclipse" will travel across parts of North America, including Carbondale, Illinois.

The 2017 total solar eclipse passed through Carbondale and will once again on Monday, April 8. The city will be in the "path of totality" and one of the best places to see the eclipse.

During a total solar eclipse, the moon passes between the sun and the Earth, completely blocking out the sun. The sky will darken and temperatures will even cool.

The Earth might soon be in for a spectacular show in both the nighttime and the day, as our stellar neighbor Betelgeuse approaches its end of days.

Betelgeuse, a star around 650 light years away from Earth, has been getting increasingly bright, hitting 142 percent of its usual luminosity at the end of May, leading scientists to suggest it might be fixing to go supernova—a huge explosion that occurs at the end of a star's life.

If this dramatic star-death occurs during our lifetimes, it is expected to appear as a huge bright patch in the sky during both the day and night, around the same brightness as the full moon at its peak.

Betelgeuse is a red supergiant around 15 to 20 times more massive than the sun, and around 1,400 times the size, located in the constellation of Orion.
