BOTH THE PROTESTORS RAGE and the KID GLOVE APPROACH BY THE CPD IS UNJUSTIFIED

These people could give a rats ass about George Floyd. They are acting like this because they are mentally ill and even insane, and worst of all, they are getting away with it. Let's treat them like the assholes they are.

Teargas and water-cannons
Arrest and detention without bail, pending trial
Stiff sentencing
Shut down the "L" until this has passed.

Mayor Lightfoot is urged to treat this situation most seriously. Don't invite them to lawfully assemble and voice their outrage. Stop MF ing the police, they are doing the best they can. Demand that the culprits be prosecuted by the states attorney. Your duty to the people of Chicago, your oath of office, requires that you slam the hammer on these people now, or else you may not have a city left.

it is sort of amusing that these suburban white kids banging on windows and cars with their skate boards wouldn't be caught dead on the west side or Englewood after the riots.

Beetle juice sets an unconstitutional curfew yet the National Guard was not called up to protect the citizens, businesses and support the CPD. This will only end with fighting fire with fire, time to protect the CPD ourselves.

We need a leader with balls like old man Daley. Instead we got a leaderless socialist compassionate to the criminals hell bent on playing the race card herself claiming racism is to blame, total bullshit ! They are the racists determined to start a war, they will claim it's a race war but in reality will be a anarchist versus civilized Americans. The spin they are putting on this lawless behavior by calling them protestors are rioters. Time to get serious and stop this planned agenda of destruction of our way of life.

Mayor Lightfoot has received reckonings from party goers, kids who called her bald ass and told her to go home and most recently, the riots and lootings. ☹️

She could have phoned Jay Bob to ask Trump to send in the National Guard. She could have locked Chicago down, at suburban and Hammond borders and shut down CTA way before the riots and looting. ☹️

I thought the National Guard answers to the Governor.

Nope they are Federal troops, they get all their equipment from Uncle Sugar. The President is the Commander of all US troops so they are under his command if need be.

I am not going to be critical of 19th ward politicians. They tend to do the best job they can with very limited resources, and don't need to be beaten up. In fact, people should be helping them as they are among the last "normal" leaders in Illinois.

I am keeping the 19th Ward Chicago name because of the rich blog history going back to 2010 and because there is a ready-made base of similar-thinking readers. For now on, the 19th Ward of Chicago will be mainly a point of reference, an observation deck if you will. A place where allot of good-natured, normal-thinking people still live and can safely view the dysfunction overtaking America. Write whatever you want about whatever or whomever you want. Just keep it true and not vulgar.

At all times, we am going to comply with Blogspot's community standards. We have seen what happens when there is not such compliance.

We will never publish threats of physical violence or baseless attacks on people or institutions.
