80% Chance of a nuke in Europe in the next week or so!

The prevailing mood at the Pentagon is that a nuclear exchange with Russia is winnable. Granted, many of these people are getting retired next year, but for now, they are intent on going out with a bang. As for the odds of "success", being academy people, they are smart as hell and probably have this.

Currently, the US Navy submarine fleet is on it's highest level of alert (DEFCON 1) while NORAD is at DEFCON 2. All available aircraft carriers are underway at sea. US allies are also at a similar state of readiness.

Since the definition of "success" is vague, I suggest that readers reflect on their willingness for their loved ones and themselves to survive this venture; and do something in preparation. A good start would be a  thirty-day supply of basic food, water, medicine, clothing and blankets, alternative heat source, cash, potassium iodide, and a means of self-defense. One should anticipate the possibility of no electricity, phone service or internet and that martial law (restricting movement) will be imposed.

Serious preppers should take this time to get themselves into the best physical condition of their lives as such may pay dividends.

For additional information, there are numerous internet sites and You-Tube videos on the subject.

  1. 20,000 simulations demonstrate that one nuke anywhere equals all of them, times everybody, inside 72 hours.

So either this post won't age well, or it won't matter anywhere in the Northern Hemisphere anyways.
