Have all those people who are so incensed about these monuments and memorials felt this oppression all of their lives? If so, the last several months are the first I've heard of it. But why not look a little closer and try to figure out how so many protest organizers got the ball rolling, where did someone get the time and impetus to cause so much unrest after more than a century of tranquility?

Back in the 60's, I used to think those who complained about "troublemakers" were cranks. But now as I've joined the ranks of seniors, I look at (as Daley the 1st used to say: "outside agitators".

The disruptive influencers subsidizing the current crop of activist movements comes from outside our country. They are the likes of George Soros, the ultimate collusionist. In September of 2011, protesters began congregating at the LaSalle/Jackson intersection, staffing that corner with protest signs against the financial districts of the country with the Occupy Chicago movement. They had protesters, on that corner 24/7 for more than a year. Its been written that these occupiers were being subsidized to just stand there and ensure there was someone, holding a sign. As the fall drifted into winter, and winter into spring, more activist groups joined the occupy group. Act Up Chicago, and Stand Up Chicago, some factions of the Teachers union also showed up. And then came summer, around the G8 and NATO conferences scheduled to be held in Chicago and the Black Block group showed up.

The point being is that all these groups who never showed face in Chicago, were all over the city's financial district decrying the 1%. So who put them up to it and what was the motivation. Well, it appears we're seeing it now. And the origins of this civil unrest isn't here.

The real shame of all of this is seeing all of the politicians jump on board in a display of massive pandering for which they should be ashamed of themselves. And I hope you consider all of this then next time you go to vote.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8499014970840083879.post-7513366591858880052017-08-18T15:12:09.450-05:002017-08-18T15:12:09.450-05:00Excellent analysis.Excellent analysis.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
