Now is the time.....Jerry Joyce for Cook County State's Attorney

A BRILLIANT ALTERNATIVE TO KIM FOXX

Jerry had a very respectable tally considering it was his first campaign. Such a showing suggest that the electorate likes the qualities possessed by a sensible, hard-working family man. Jerry has a very bright future if he chooses to pursue public service. May I suggest that he be a candidate for the office of Cook County State's Attorney in 2020. It's time to restore the rule of law and order. Jerry will represent the interest of the citizens.

THE REAL THING

Jeremiah Joyce Jr. for State's Attorney

Jeremiah Joyce Jr., a former Cook County assistant state’s attorney, sold himself as the 'law-and-order' candidate. The only candidate without baggage. The only candidate that makes
sense.

COOK COUNTY WOULD BE BLESSED TO HAVE THIS MAN BE IT's CHIEF LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER.

  •  He will treat the office seriously
  • He has all the necessary attributes, tremendous integrity, smart, caring, knowledgeable of how the system works and has no political or business conflicts

  1. I wondered for years why a Joyce never ran. Going up against a Daley I can understand, but Rahm can be had and there is no better time than now! Joyce's biggest asset is going to be that he can raise money on pretty much the same level as Rahm can, which no other candidate to date has been able to do. I hope this rumor, like so many others doesn't merely dry up on the vine

It’s not a rumor. Get your petition today!

Jerry can go toe to toe with Rahm. One on one in a debate and he beats him. Chicago needs change Jerry is it!

To the naysayers talking about the Joyce baggage, Rahm has much more than anyone! Jerry is clean!

Ruck Fahm! It’s time for the little runt to pay the fiddler!

Its not a rumor. Rahm lost the black vote. The only thing Rahm has going for him is Raising money and whites with maybe some Hispanic vote after kissing their ass. If your right and this guy can raise money like you say he can Rahm should just retire.

Rahm's father blew up the King David Hotel. Rahm has even more baggage than that.

No baggage the Joyce family had is anything close to what Rahm and his family have.

What is Rahm going to do, go after Danny? He already had his Sun Times lapdog do that. Pickle? They did it four years ago. Jeremiah? Sins of my father. See the first line. Then talk to us about the $16 million that Rahm "earned" in two years. Then talk to us about the half mill he picked up as a board member with Freddie Mac in the lead up to the easy money housing market crash.

Then talk to us about all of the baggage that his brother Ari has or even their sister Shoshana and her kid. This stuff isn't pretty, folks. And if anyone knows how to crack and egg, it's the boys from the Celtic Boxing Club. True 19th Ward folks who know how to get things done.

Rahm won't even run. His chickens are at home roosting. Watch now. He's got a couple of big trials coming up. One we know about. Another one that we don't. Think about it.

Joyce wins. Rahm is going to drop out because of the term limits thing being put together by Quinn. Vallas will drop out when told to so so. McCarthy will drop out after a deal is struck. It will be Mayor Joyce and can't be soon enough if you ask me.

Rahm is biding his time to read the tea leaves of the Van Dyke trial. He is also forcing through the 10 billion pension bonds to enrich his friends before he pulls the plug. That’s why he isn’t saying if he’s not running yet. He’s holding it over the council’s head using fear tactics.

We needs to chase him from this town once and for all. The only time he’s lived here is the last 8 years. Carpetbagger!

I don't think Rahm is dropping out. He is not acting like it. Most people do not know Jerry Joyce (myself included). I know of the family and thought pretty highly of his brother Kevin. But his Dad was connected at the hip to the Machine and has profited greatly. That being said I just signed his petition. I will vote for him. He seems like a better option than McCarthy who isn't from Chicago, Paul Vallas has become a joke. He runs for something every two years. Lightfoot or whatever....is a commie. Time to put an end to this circus and put an educated man that’s a life longChicagoan at the helm that doesn’t need his Skokie brother ari to put the arm on the celebrity a list to determine our out comes . Preckwinkle had a county army of beholden job holders/seekers, Willie Wilson had a bunch that may have cost him $20 a piece and still may not survive challenges. Vallas kept his under a garbage can, Skinny might be under there as well. But the "big" money guys Daley & Chico were to submit petitions later. Pretty humiliating for these "pros" not being able to get their acts together after all the help they get from the media with free air time and interviews. I agree Murphy. I don’t see Bill staying in. His family name is bad in the eyes of a lot of Chicagoans, even Bridgeport.

So let’s chew the fat on who gets on the ballot and who else leaves.

Does Mendoza make it? I hate her.

    Preckwinkle is very bad.

    McCarthy is a wanker.

I don’t mind Vallas, but I really like neighborhood guy Jerry Joyce.

    Does Joyce have a chance?

    Does Chico?

Does anybody besides Preckwinkle and Mendoza, who have been ordained as the leaders of the race.

If either one of them wins, I think I’m moving to somewhere that isn’t here.

Why don’t we all discuss it?

At least half of the candidates currently running will drop out. Fighting petition challenges and running an effective campaign is expensive. Compounding that, if you don't have a volunteer base to consistently deliver your message to the neighborhoods you'll get lost in the shuffle. TV ad buys can only do so much. Rauner and Pritzker spent millions-did any of those ads influence you? Time will tell but I can't see having my future and my family's future based on left leaning policies subsidized by Kanye or Chance the Rapper. And the $20 bills passed out by Willie Wilson only goes so far.

Joyce, Daley mayoral match-up goes another round, threatens families’ ties

    Daley’s ire!

    Ding!

It’s the big boys boxing ring … and the gloves are off.

    • Round one: Mayoral candidate Jerry Joyce, who was one of the first to toss his hat in the mayoral ring, is the son of former 19th Ward alderman and state Sen. Jeremiah Joyce, a brilliant political strategist for former Mayor Richard M. Daley.

    • Round two: Then former U.S. Commerce Secretary Bill Daley, son of the late Mayor Richard J. Daley — and brother of Richard M. Daley, decided to toss his hat in the ring.

    • Round three: Political pundits opined Daley expected Joyce to drop out of the race because the families had once been politically tied at the hip and they expected loyalty to royalty.

    That didn’t happen.

    • Round four: Not only has Joyce Jr. refused to exit the race but challenged Daley’s nominating petitions, which Sneed is told included the signatures of Richard M. Daley’s daughter and Cook County Commissioner John P. Daley’s son and daughter-in-law.

“It’s taken a nasty personal turn, and this one may have crossed the line,” said a top Daley source.

“Former State Sen. Jeremiah Joyce has been a key player in the Daley family political history for years, but it looks like the split is official — and permanent.”

Daleys campaign was bad for the city. He should have gotten out and helped Jerry. They ran the city for 50 years. Enough.

Murph, please name some names of 19th WARD "friends" of the Joyces. You know the type. They thought they would get a better deal with a Mayor Daley yet they were constantly all ov er the JJs, telling them how much ........ all bs. Put their names out there.

I saw the Tribune article today, written at Bill Daley's behest, blaming Joyce for being a spoiler and suggesting Joyce ran only for the purpose of spliting the ethnic vote. Memo to Bill Daley, its time to put your big boy pants on. You ran a bad campaign. You failed to show up at many debates and even stopped running TV ads with 5 days to go. You didn't even try to work things out with Joyce because.........you're a Daley or is it because you have an arrogant opinion of yourself. Either way, look in the mirror and blame yourself. Your campaign was shit.

Hey Bill, being the chief of staff for the worst president ever is not a positive endorsement and neither is being a globalist Washington DC money grabbing whore. You never were a true Chicago guy, those are the real reasons you lost.

He brought Al Gore in to campaign for him. Thats an example of how out of touch Bill Daley had gotten. Good riddance.

Bill Daley, brought us NAFTA and was rewarded with the Commerce Department. He sold his people out for 30 pieces of silver. Enough of the Daleys.

  57. I think Joyce would be a great pick,if nothing else we'd at least have someone capable for a change running that office. However does anyone really think they'll allow 2 from the 19th ward Dart) to run countywide together?

Cook County needs Jerry Joyce. Crime is surging because Kim Foxx is not doing her job.

  59. He's Jimmy's son murph, that alone makes him the most intelligent choice. We can't have people who come from 19th ward commoners running for office.

lil kimmy is a compromised idiot who was placed there by lefty assholes. White, Black, and Hispanic righteous thinking people need to replace this punk with a legitimate professional. Then, go get the chief judge who insists on giving dangerous felons I-bonds. Dart aint no better, the less bodies in my jail, the less headaches I have!.

It doesn’t sound like he is.

Also have to figure that three people to the right of Fozz are running as of now. No one to the left. That allows her to keep her SJW base intact. Need to get someone equal to or even further left of Fozz to run in order to split her vote.
