The Devil is transgender

About 5 months ago, I asked in a post when and how transgenders became all the rage in America:
Something is going on to which the American people are not privy.
Every evidence we have is that those who identify themselves as LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender) comprise no more than 5% of the U.S. population.…which means transgenders must be less than 1% of the U.S. population. And yet, if we go by the pervasive news about transgenders and the relentless drumbeat for “transgender rights” by every institution of the Left — by the media, pop culture, academia, and the Obama administration — you would think every other person you meet is a transgender….
The simple truth is that a person’s sex or gender is determined by our DNA, specifically, chromosomes: females have XX chromosomes; males have XY chromosomes. That means no amount of surgical mutilation and hormone “therapy” can actually transform a man into a woman by creating an ovary, uterus or milk-producing breasts; nor can surgery transform a woman into a man by creating sperm, testicles, and a real penis. Those are determined by birth — by our chromosomal DNA. (See “A transsexual regrets his ‘gender-reassignment’ surgery“)
That is why psychiatrist Joseph Berger, M.D. says from a medical and scientific perspective, there is no such thing as a transgendered person.
Paul R. McHugh, M.D., former psychiatrist-in-chief for Johns Hopkins Hospital and its current Distinguished Service Professor of Psychiatry, agrees. According to Dr. McHugh, “transgenders” are people who suffer a “disorder of ‘assumption’” – the notion that their maleness or femaleness is different than what nature assigned to them biologically, much like other body dysmorphic disorders, such as anorexia. The difference, of course, is that body parts like penises, testicles, and breasts are not amputated in an effort to “cure” other assumption disorders.
And yet a year ago, Time magazine’s cover of June 9, 2014 proclaimed that we’re at a “Transgender Tipping Point: America’s Next Civil Rights Frontier.”
Time transgender cover
With the benefit of hindsight, we now know Time was exactly right about the tipping point. In the span of a mere year, U.S. media and pop culture have not just succumbed but fully embraced the scientifically-fictitious transgenderism:
  • Bruce Jenner, who got breast implants but still has male chromosomes and genitalia, is now referred to by the feminine pronouns “she” and “her”.
  • The Pentagon will begin admitting “transgenders” into the military and taxpayers will pay for their gender-reassignment body mutilation surgery.
  • Applicants to the formerly serious institutions of higher learning, the University of California system, are asked to choose among six (!) genders.
We are in Alice’s Through-the-Looking-Glass land where up is down, and down is up, and sane people find themselves in a country gone stark raving mad.
I’ve puzzled about this, especially the dizzying speed of the change in American culture and attitudes. Then came that proverbial light bulb of illumination.
In a July 27, 2015 essay in Patheos, Fr. Dwight Longenecker draws our attention to the Baphomet, a well-known pictorial representation of the devil asandrogynous, both male and female, or in today’s parlance, a transgender.
Baphomet
Fr. Longenecker describes the Baphomet:
Rising from his lap is the pagan Caduceus–the rod with two serpents entwined that the pagan god Mercury carries. According to Satanic lore, this is a phallic symbol with the earth powers of the serpent intertwined.
The winged goat headed figure not only has male genitalia, but breasts.
Furthermore, when you look closely you’ll see that the beast has two arms–one male and one female.
On the arms are the Latin words “Solve” and “Coagula”. These mean “Separate” and “Come Together”. These are occult words for the task of the alchemist who takes what is integrated and natural–breaks it and then puts it back together in a new (and perverted) way.
This is precisely what Satan is doing at this time with human sexuality. Through feminism, homosexualism, trans genderism, gender confusion and “identifying” as whatever gender a person wants, the distinctions between male and female are being broken and put back together however it is desired.
The celebration of “Caitlyn” Jenner–indeed the enforced celebration and constant publicity about this “transitioning” is a visual illustration of what is going on.
I will say what Fr. Longenecker hints at and implies: Satanism explains America’s rapid acceptance of transgenders. Indeed, Christ called the Devil “the father of all lies”, and we have been warned by St. Paul (2 Timothy 3:1-4, 12-13):
But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God . . . and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution. But evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived.”

CIA director John Brennan is a Muslim convert?

Before John Owen Brennan became Director of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) on March 8, 2013, he had spent 25 years with the CIA in a succession of positions, including as a Near East and South Asia analyst, station chief in Saudi Arabia, chief of staff to CIA director George Tenet, and director of the National Counterterrorism Center. After leaving government service in 2005, Brennan was CEO of The Analysis Corporation, a security consulting business. He returned to government service with the Obama administration as Homeland Security Advisor on January 20, 2009.

This accusation of Derrick Rose smells like BS

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) - Chicago Bulls' Derrick Rose is being sued by a woman who is claiming he and two of his friends drugged and gang raped her. The allegations are similar to those recently leveled against Blackhawk Patrick Kane.

A spokesperson for Rose denied the allegations, calling the lawsuit “outrageous.”

Report: Derrick Rose accused of drugging, gang raping ex-girlfriend

The woman is only identified as 'Jane Doe' in the lawsuit. She claims that she and Rose dated from 2011 to 2013, TMZ reports. During that time, Rose allegedly tried to pressure her to masturbate in front of him and to allow him to have sex with her friends.

TMZ also reports Rose tried to pressure her into having sex with his friends.

In 2013, Rose and two friends allegedly slipped a drug into the woman's drink and were planning on raping her, according to TMZ. However, TMZ reports she escaped with a friend, but later that night Rose and his two friends broke into her apartment and abused her while she was incapacitated.

She claims to only remember “flashes” of the incident, according to TMZ.

TMZ reports that the victim claims she waited two years to file suit because she was “ashamed and embarrassed.”

A spokesperson for Rose responded to the allegations via Liz Mullen of SportsBusiness Journal:

"The plaintiff’s allegations are completely false and without any factual basis. This is nothing more than a desperate attempt to shake down a highly respected and successful athlete. Mr. Rose was in a non-exclusive, consensual sexual relationship with the plaintiff for over two years. The plaintiff expressed no complaints about Mr. Rose until various lawyers began to surface and demand that the plaintiff be paid millions of dollars. ... This is the third lawyer the plaintiff has retained in this matter. Two years have passed since Mr. Rose ended the consensual relationship with the plaintiff, and her claims are as meritless now as they were two years ago. We have complete confidence that the case will be dismissed and that Mr. Rose will be vindicated. This lawsuit is outrageous."

Family fun this fall.

Now, truth aside, even a friendly discourse will get you in trouble.

WHAT
DOES
IT
MATTER?
The Chicago Police Department is investigating an incident in which a white, plainclothes officer on duty in an African-American neighborhood was videotaped saying, “Mike Brown deserved it.”

Police spokesman Anthony Guglielmi said Tuesday the department has identified the officer recorded making that statement regarding Michael Brown, the black teenager whose shooting death by a police officer in Ferguson, Missouri, sparked riots last year.
But Guglielmi would not name the white, male officer, who also is heard making other racially charged remarks in a video posted on YouTube.
In the 41-second video, the officer is seen wearing a black bulletproof vest and standing next to an unmarked police vehicle while he bickers with the man who records the argument.
WARNING: Video contains typical ghetto language.

As the clip begins, the officer appears to be replying to a complaint that the police engage in racial profiling.
“It’s all black people that live here, so I got no choice but to f—— pull over black people,” the officer says. “If you don’t like it, then move.”

NEW VIDEO REVEALS STEM EXPRESS OBTAINING BODY PARTS FROM 100 ABORTION CLINICS

Screen Shot 2015-08-25 at 8.33.32 AM
A newly-released undercover video from Center for Medical Progress shows a Stem Express official saying she is working with nearly 100 clinics nationwide to obtain body parts from aborted babies, and problems with contamination of tissue specimens coming from unsanitary clinics.
She says that the easiest way to transport fragile brain tissue is leave it within the babies' heads, but says when the tissue is shipped that way, to warn the lab because workers "freak out" when they see what is inside the containers.
This latest video was released after a California judge lifted a court order last Friday which restricted the group from releasing any additional footage mentioning Stem Express.
“What would make your lab happy?” asks one of the actors. “Another 50 livers a week,” says Dyer. “We’re working with almost like triple digit number clinics,” Dyer explains, “and we still need more.” She later notes, “Planned Parenthood has volume, because they are a volume institution,” LifeNews.com reports.

Dyer also agrees that payments to abortion clinics for fetal body parts should be financially beneficial to them.
“Do you feel like there are clinics out there that have been burned, that feel like they’re doing all this work for research and it hasn’t been profitable for them?” she asks. “I haven’t seen that.”
StemExpress publishes a flyer for Planned Parenthood clinics that promises “financial profits” and “fiscal rewards” for clinics that supply aborted fetal tissue. The brochure includes an endorsement by Planned Parenthood Mar Monte Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Dorothy Furgerson.
The sale or purchase of human fetal tissue is a federal felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison or a fine of up to $500,000 (42 U.S.C. 289g-2). The Sacramento Business Journal reported in June that StemExpress has an annual revenue of $4.5 million.
The video is the eighth released by The Center for Medical Progress in its investigative journalism study of Planned Parenthood’s sale of aborted baby parts.
David Daleiden, the head of CMP, commented on the newest video in a statement to LifeNews.
StemExpress is the ‘weakest link’ that unravels Planned Parenthood’s baby parts chain–they readily admit the profit-motive that Planned Parenthood and their proxies have in supplying aborted baby parts,” he said. “Congress and law enforcement should immediately seize all fetal tissue files from StemExpress and all communications and contracts with Planned Parenthood. The evidence that Planned Parenthood profits from the sale of aborted baby parts is now overwhelming, and not one more dime of taxpayer money should go to their corrupt and fraudulent criminal enterprise.

CHICAGO - Abortion and the methods Planned Parenthood uses to distribute aborted baby body parts are topics that are being overheard at the most unexpected places these days.
The timing of John Morales' production featuring women who've had abortions, doctors who've done abortions and nurses that worked at Planned Parenthoods couldn't be better for those wanting to keep the topic on the public's mind.

LeBron James' philanthropy a light in the darkness

BY DAN McGRATH – For the Sun-Times
Frequent promos for the Little League World Series on ESPN remind us we’re approaching the one-year anniversary of a story that proved way too good to be true.

If you were playing word association, wouldn’t ‘‘awful,’’ ‘‘terrible’’ or ‘‘what the . . . ’’ come to mind more quickly than ‘‘three-time Stanley Cup winner’’ as a match for Patrick Kane?
With no say in the matter, Milwaukee taxpayers will help fund a new arena for the billionaire owners of the Bucks, lest they lose their NBA team and a half-share of their town’s big-league identity to another market. A similar scenario has been playing out in Sacramento. It’s extortion, it’s legal and it will continue as long as there are hoops-hungry cities such as Seattle available to abet it.
Despite Ray McDonald’s best efforts, domestic violence has become a back-burner story in the NFL — at least for now. Credit (???) goes to Deflate-gate and the idiocy of players such as Aldon Smith, not to any measures the league has undertaken to combat it.
Do you still think of soccer as ‘‘the beautiful game’’ as you learn about FIFA, Sepp Blatter and a straight-out-of-Chicago-style business model that makes the Olympic movement seem almost noble?

It’s tough to maintain a healthy interest in sports when the values they’re supposed to foster are drowning in greed, corruption and lawlessness.
So thank you, LeBron James, for a respite from the mind-numbing drumbeat of bad news.
James made an announcement last week that was, if not ignored, totally devoid of the fanfare that accompanied ‘‘The Decision,’’ that misguidedly self-centered spectacle by which he revealed he was forgoing the grit of Cleveland for the glamor of Miami five years ago. He is sponsoring a program that will enable thousands of disadvantaged kids in his native Akron to receive college scholarships.
James won two titles in four seasons with the Heat and erased any doubt that he’s the best player on the planet by taking the badly outmanned Cavaliers to the NBA Finals last season. He never has beaten up a wife or girlfriend, never has been arrested, never has been in trouble despite a sadly dysfunctional upbringing that easily could have led him toward bad decisions and dire consequences.
Some basketball fans’ unrelenting animus toward James makes no sense. The scholarship program could cost $40 million if enough kids take advantage of it, and there is a tutoring/mentoring component available to prepare them, as well as a community-service requirement.
James is as unselfish and outstanding a citizen as he is a basketball player, and some folks hate him for it?
I work at Leo High School, a small-but-feisty all-boys school in the Auburn-Gresham community on the South Side. A program such as James’ would be a godsend for our kids, nearly all of whom are college material but are limited in their choices by economic circumstances.
One of them, a 2015 graduate named Isaiah, stopped by to say goodbye the other day, off to college in Mississippi. Isaiah transferred in from a nearby charter school three years ago, fearing for his life because he refused to throw in with the gang element that enjoyed the run of the place.
As a Catholic school receiving no state funds, we have to charge tuition, and we broke down the cost structure for Isaiah’s mother. Her response: ‘‘It’s cheaper than
a funeral.’’
The grim reality of her observation haunts me.
Isaiah recognized an opportunity to be somebody at Leo and embraced it. He graduated No. 2
in the senior class, a dean’s list student, National Honor Society member, co–captain of the baseball and chess teams. He decided to give football a try as a senior and did a terrific job as our punter.
‘‘Leo changed his life,’’ Isaiah’s mother told me.
All he needed was an opportunity to thrive in a safe, nurturing, learning environment.
James’ scholarship program is Isaiah’s story writ large. James is doing it because he can but also because he cares. And thousands of kids will be better for it.
The same day James’ scholarship initiative was announced, Michael Jordan was in a Chicago courtroom, seeking $10 million from a defunct grocery-store chain over unauthorized use of his likeness in a tribute ad. It’s his image and his right to protect it.
The jury found for him and awarded him $8.9 million, which MJ said he’ll donate to charity. Jordan is the player with whom James most frequently is compared. This time, it’s MJ following LeBron’s lead.
Good for him.

UPDATE, FOX NEWS IS REPORTING THAT MICHAEL JORDAN IS GIVING ALL OF THE TRIAL WINNINGS TO A LOCAL CHICAGO CHARITY. THANK YOU

RAUNER SIGNS YOUTH GENDER COUNSELING BAN INTO EFFECT as he makes a deal with the gay lobby

Will say or do anything. Stands for nothing.
SPRINGFIELD - Though social conservatives were calling on Governor Rauner to protect religious rights and reject a bill that bans counselors from discussing certain topics with minors confused about their sexuality, the governor signed HB 217 into law Thursday.
The Conversion Therapy Prohibition Act, HB 217, makes it illegal for mental health care specialists to perform conversion therapies on patients under the age of 18.
The LGBT community in Illinois is delighted with the new law. It was reported that when Rauner met with the LGBT community shortly after his election, they urged him to support the effort.

"Lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender youth in Illinois will now be protected from discredited and dangerous efforts to change their sexual orientation or gender identity," Equality Illinois Public Policy Director Mike Ziri said in an email to supporters upon news of the bill's signing. "Known as 'conversion therapy,' these efforts are extremely harmful to the physical and mental well-being of young people."
For the most part, the bill was supported by Democrats and rejected by Republican lawmakers, except GOP senators Leader Christine Radogno and Chris Nybo and GOP House members Leader Jim Durkin, David Leitch, Mike McAulliffe, Bob Pritchard and Ed Sullivan.

Ald. Munoz.....sounds to me like he smoked too much weed.

Does he use pot to treat his worries ?

FOX 32: Are you worried about the city budget?
“Very worried, because the mayor hasn't given us a plan,” said 22nd Ward Alderman Rick Munoz.
Ald. Munoz is a leader of the City Council's Progressive Caucus. The Munoz plan to balance the budget includes two items that must be approved by the General Assembly and Gov. Bruce Rauner: a graduated city income tax and putting marijuana on a par with alcohol.
“I'm a proponent of the legalization of cannabis and to be able to tax it. Because that is a revenue generator,” Munoz said.

He's an alderman and he's waiting for the mayor to give him a plan.  How wimpy is that? Why doesn't he meet with some other alderman, come up with a workable plan and tell the mayor the way it's going to be.

Abortion harvesting pays big $$$$$$$$$

VIDEO #7: WITNESS TELLS OF ABORTED BABY'S BEATING HEART; HARVESTING OF BRAIN

Screen Shot 2015-08-20 at 11.40.35 AM
CALIFORNIA - LifeNews explains the seventh video released Wednesday by the Center for Medical Progress, which features licensed phlebotomistHolly O'Donnell recalling the day she decided she no longer could work for Stem Express:
The new video includes O’Donnell’s eyewitness narrative of the daily practice of fetal body parts harvesting in Planned Parenthood abortion clinics. She tells the harrowing story of harvesting an intact brain from a late-term male unborn baby whose heart was still beating after the abortion.
O’Donnell describes the harvesting, or “procurement,” of organs from a nearly intact late-term baby aborted at Planned Parenthood Mar Monte’s Alameda clinic in San Jose, California.
Although Planned Parenthood's Dr. Deborah Nucatola mentioned a family planning specialist at Cook County's Stroger Hospital as a potential source for baby body parts, no formal investigation has been authorized to take place in Illinois to determine whether Illinois Planned Parenthoods are involved in the same practices O'Donnell describes as taking place in California.

For those that voted for Rahm, this is for you!

Suburbanites have grown accustomed to paying a garbage-collection fee in addition to their property tax bill. It looks like Chicagoans will soon face a similar pain in the wallet.

One week after his budget team held closed-door meetings with aldermen, Mayor Rahm Emanuel is all but saying that a garbage-collection fee is coming to Chicago.

Struggling to solve a $30 billion pension crisis that has dropped the city’s bond rating to junk status, Emanuel needs $754 million in new revenue to balance his 2016 budget and shore up police and fire pensions, even under the best-case scenario.

“Thirty-five aldermen. Seventy-plus ideas . . . I would say
there’s building consensus around at least two things on the revenue side: Some form of a garbage fee like other communities around the state and country have. [And] a fee around e-cigarettes and other tobacco products that are not cigarettes,” Emanuel told WLS-AM Radio (890).
The mayor’s office refused to go beyond those remarks.
But Ald. Pat O’Connor (40th), Emanuel’s City Council floor leader, said it’s no longer an issue of whether Chicago will have a garbage-collection fee. The question is, how much?

“That’s where the real discussion will take place. It will be around the cost, rather than the enablement. We need to see the numbers that show how much we’ll save and how much it would generate,” he said.

O’Connor noted that a “very large percentage” of Chicagoans already pay for garbage collection. They rent or own in multiunit residential buildings that don’t get city pick-ups. “If you’ve never done it before, a lot of people will say, `This is terrible.’ But to the extent that Chicago is becoming a destination for people who are not native Chicagoans — and that’s a growing number of people — this isn’t going to be new. It’ll be something they’ve seen before. It might be easier [to sell politically] than we think,” O’Connor said.

City Hall sources pegged the number of households that already pay for private garbage collection at 400,000. Another 600,000 get city pickups at no additional cost.
In at least one North Shore suburb, a resident with one cart for routine garbage and another for recyclables pays $104.72 every four months or $314.16 a year for both pick-ups. The weekly pick-ups are made by a private scavenger service that uses one-man crews.

In Chicago, the Department of Streets and Sanitation still operates with three employees on a truck. Unless work rules are changed or garbage collection is privatized, costs would be higher, but the first-ever fees would have to be lower.

Chicago would almost certainly have to start smaller to get residents of 600,000 single-family homes, two-, three-flats and four-flats used to the idea of paying for a service they’ve grown accustomed to getting for free.

R.I.P. Soldier

CHICAGO (AP) — Members of a U.S. Army skydiving team will return to their base where they will have access to counseling after a parachutist from their unit died from injuries suffered during a stunt at the Chicago Air & Water Show, a spokeswoman for the group said.

The Golden Knights demonstration team has been put on a "safety stand down" after the death of Sgt. 1st Class Corey Hood, spokeswoman Donna Dixon said Sunday. The group will head to Fort Bragg in North Carolina, where they can meet with chaplains as the Army works to ensure everyone is mentally and physically fit to continue with the show season, she said. The team's performance schedule could be affected.

Hood, of Cincinnati, Ohio, was pronounced dead Sunday afternoon at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, according to the Cook County medical examiner's office. A day earlier, he collided in midair with a member of the Navy's precision skydiving team during the event along Chicago's Lake Michigan shoreline.

Hood, 32, served five tours of duty in Iraq and Afghanistan and had earned numerous awards, including two Bronze Stars. He had logged more than 200 free fall jumps and 75 military static line jumps during his career, according to his Army biography.

Donald Trump’s New Version of an Old Political Fantasy

The Republican upstart is just the latest incarnation of the ‘Patriot King,’ the hero swooping in from outside to save our broken politics

In recent years, we have seen a new type of Patriot King: the tycoon.ENLARGE
In recent years, we have seen a new type of Patriot King: the tycoon. I
LLUSTRATION: JOE CIARDIELLO
Ever since announcing his presidential candidacy, Donald Trumphas topped polls, dominated headlines and hovered over the Republican field like a dirigible. Panicked rivals, story-chasing journalists and thrilled supporters have treated him like some momentous (or monstrous) one-off. But he is actually an old thing in American politics—older even than the republic itself. Mr. Trump is the latest incarnation of the Patriot King—the hero who swoops into the political system from the outside to save it from its own vices.
The idea of the Patriot King was the brainchild of a thinker well known to our founding fathers—Henry St. John, Viscount Bolingbroke (1678-1751), an English politician and journalist at a time when royal power in Britain gave way to government by Parliament and political parties. As a young man, Bolingbroke seemed destined for great things, but he tied himself to a series of sovereigns (and would-be sovereigns) who left him in the lurch.
Bolingbroke’s political disappointments led him to a second career as a polemicist. In a series of essays and books, he argued that the original sin of English political life was corruption. Party leaders bought elections by bribing voters and bought the loyalty of members of Parliament by giving them government jobs.
Bolingbroke argued that only a public-spirited royal could rise above this dirty traffic. In his most influential book, he named this paragon the Patriot King. High birth would guarantee such a ruler’s independence; he would “put himself at the head of his people in order to govern, or more properly to subdue, all parties.”

Bolingbroke had little impact in England; Edmund Burke dismissed him with a jibe: “Who now reads Bolingbroke? Who ever read him through?” But he was read eagerly by American colonials, who thought Bolingbroke exactly described the unresponsive establishment that oppressed them. George Washington, John Adams and Thomas Jefferson all owned sets of Bolingbroke’s journalism.
The founding fathers didn’t want a king, patriotic or otherwise. But they also didn’t want political parties, which James Madison in the Federalist dismissively called “factions.” When parties inevitably arose, the founders and their heirs quite naturally yearned for some savior who might check them.
For more than two centuries, the most common candidates for the role of Patriot King have been heroic generals. Six have made it to the White House—Washington, Andrew Jackson, William Henry Harrison, Zachary Taylor, Ulysses Grant and Dwight Eisenhower—and in our day, Colin Powell, Wesley Clark and David Petraeus have been mentioned as possible aspirants.
In recent years, we have seen a new type of Patriot King: the tycoon. In 1992, the data-processing billionaire H. Ross Perot ran for president by invoking some specific issues, such as balancing the budget, but his main appeal was a Bolingbrokean pox on the U.S. political system. “This city,” he said in a speech to the National Press Club, “has become a town filled with sound bites, shell games, handlers and media stuntmen…We need deeds, not words.” Mr. Perot carried no states, but he won almost 19% of the popular vote—more than any postwar third-party candidate.
From 2002-13, the billionaire Michael Bloomberg was mayor of New York City, and he is still occasionally mentioned as a potential president by those unhappy with today’s choices. He was nominally a Republican, but his party affiliation was largely a convenience.
Mr. Perot spent some $65 million of his own money on his 1992 campaign; Mr. Bloomberg shelled out an astounding $74 million on his first mayoral run in 2001, topping it with some $85 million on his second and a cool $102 million on his third.
Comes now Mr. Trump, real-estate magnate, TV host and mouth for all seasons, whose appeal flows from his defiance of conventional political norms. He scatters opinions and insults with a free hand and uses his wealth as a “Get Out of Jail Free” card.
The Patriot King is a fantasy that lives on because of our discomfort with parties. Parties are hackish, opportunistic and timid; the two major ones rig the system as best they can. Yet parties are a genuine political innovation, almost as old as the Constitution and an important supplement to it. They organize Congress and facilitate the selection of presidents.
Today’s tycoons are not party men, but Mr. Perot came to grief, and Mr. Bloomberg stayed local. Mr. Trump will learn from their example—or repeat it.
