About 80% of draft eligible men ser...Let's see. About 80% of draft eligible men served in WW11,somewhat less in Korea and down to 20% in Viet Nam. Gulf wars 1 to 2 % , but non issue as there is no longer conscription. When eligible men served and didn't duck as they did in Nam there was honor and pride in family and community. In short the uniform was trusted. No suprise that the in the last eight years there was hostility in the beltway toward the armed services. So draft dodgers now in your 60's and 70's watch the Army Navy game tomorrow and you might learn something.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
