Chiraq mayor’s priorities after weekend where 64 shot, including six teenagers

This past weekend saw another double-digit of shootings in Chiraq: 64 shot, 13 fatally.

A fifteen-year-old was the weekend’s first victim. Five other teenagers were wounded in separate shootings. Read about all the shootings here.

So what did the good mayor of Chiraq tweet about on Monday? I can tell you it had absolutely NOTHING

to do with the violence in her city.

Where’s the cowboy’s mask?

PRESIDENT TRUMP PLEASE HELP US. Our city is being taken over by inept, corrupt and just plain evil politicians and recently released violent felons. Criminals are shooting, maiming, and killing innocent people. They're killing innocent children, mothers and the elderly. It is truly a war zone here and I've never seen anything like it. Just look at the daily statistics. The local media and the elected officials(governor, mayor, states attorney, many aldermen and others) are vilifying the police and celebrating criminals. Our mayor just hired a convicted felon to represent the city of Chicago as a cowboy on a horse as the spokesman for the Census. That “census cowboy” was riding around on that very horse at the downtown riots May 30th reeking havoc and screaming “fuck 12” and "fuck the police" while the city burned and was being looted. It's all on video. What is wrong with these people? No wonder why they call this place Chiraq. I don't know what you can do but please send help. Desperate times call for desperate measures.

I am not going to be critical of 19th ward politicians. They tend to do the best job they can with very limited resources, and don't need to be beaten up. In fact, people should be helping them as they are among the last "normal" leaders in Illinois.

I am keeping the 19th Ward Chicago name because of the rich blog history going back to 2010 and because there is a ready-made base of similar-thinking readers. For now on, the 19th Ward of Chicago will be mainly a point of reference, an observation deck if you will. A place where allot of good-natured, normal-thinking people still live and can safely view the dysfunction overtaking America. Write whatever you want about whatever or whomever you want. Just keep it true and not vulgar.

At all times, we am going to comply with Blogspot's community standards. We have seen what happens when there is not such compliance.

We will never publish threats of physical violence or baseless attacks on people or institutions.
