It's Time to Federalize the CPD

18 officers injured (it could have been worse) and only 12 arrest. Was there an order to stand down? I wonder where that came from.

Trump should take control of the Chicago Police Department immediately and supplement it with help from several federal agencies. This period of Fed control would be six months and would be extended if needed. Gone with be the control by an anti-police mayor and input from hostile members of the city council. Also gone would be the out of control murder rate and the senseless looting of downtown Chicago. Such an act of Federal control would save countless lives and a great city.

FROM SECOND CITY COPPERS

No Support

So eighteen cops get injured by thrown objects, firework mortars, bicycles, bats, pipes, etc. At least one is in serious condition with a fractured eye socket and another with broken kneecap and countless burns. Condemnation by the politicians?

Nope - they tweet support for the rioters and condemn the police for fulfilling their duty to the citizens of Chicago and the Rule of Law.

Here's the mayor:

She didn't visit a single officer nor told the rioters to knock it off. In fact, every single fucking politician claimed it was the polices' fault for defending a statue. Numerous "progressive" alderassholes openly supported this destruction. Prickwrinkle came out of her lair to support rioters. All blamed the police.

Begging your fucking pardon, but when did property damage become allowable? When did shooting exploding balls of gunpowder at any person become legal? Because if this is the "new normal" then everything is fair game.
