New Documents Show President Obama Was in on the Flynn Takedown

Newly released documents from the Department of Justice show President Obama informed former Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates of a phone call between former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn and Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak in December 2016. He did so in the Oval Office.

"Yates first learned of the December 2016 calls between [LTG Michael] Flynn and [Russian Ambassador to the United States, Sergey] Kislyak on January 5, 2017, while in the Oval Office. Yates, along with then FBI-Director James Comey, then-CIA Director John Brennan, and then-Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, were at the White House to brief members of the Obama Administration on the classified Intelligence Community Assessment on Russian Activities in Recent U.S Elections. President Obama was joined by his National Security Advisor, Susan Rice, and others from the National Security Council," the document states.

"After the briefing, Obama dismissed the group but asked Yates and Comey to stay behind. Obama started by saying he had 'learned of the information about Flynn' and his conversation with Kislyak about sanctions. Obama specified he did not want any additional information on the matter, but was seeking information on whether the White House should be treating Flynn any differently, given the information. At that point, Yates had no idea what the President was talking about, but figured it out based on the conversation. Yates recalled Comey mentioning the Logan Act, but can't recall if he specified there was an 'investigation,'" it continues.

That phone call became part of the FBI's justification to interview Flynn on January 24, 2017. Ahead of that meeting, notes show agents planned to get Flynn to lie in order to pursue criminal prosecution or get him fired.

According to a memo Rice wrote to herself on January 20, 2017, her last day on the job, she and Vice President Joe Biden were in the room when Obama delivered the news to Yates.

President Obama and his intelligence officials, like Rice, Brennan and Clapper, have denied being involved in a malicious pursuit against General Flynn. Documents show that is far from the case.

Of course he knew. I voted for Obama in 2008. I had hoped for his success. I thought if he did well, we'd all do well. And then came Travon Martin, Ferguson, Missouri, the weaponized IRS vs. Tea Party, spying on the media, Fast and Furious debacle/cover up. The folksy eloquence turning into arrogance, the debacle of ObamaCare and his stance against law enforcement and police. The "hands up-dont shoot" bullshit that he allowed to fester and grow. Later I learned of his coke snorting and homosexual relationships with Laurence St. Clair and members of the choir at Jeremiah Wright's church and subsequent murders of those two individuals. Too many horrific incidents to be classified as coincidence. And the media lapped him up, deified him and his wife, a former malcontent city employee who never felt proud to be American. This man, were it not for Chicago Tribune FOIA filings against Jack Ryan's sealed divorce proceedings would still be unable to have the means to rent a car. I fell for his presentation of himself in 2008 and it turned out to be all BS. And now, capitalizing on his 8 years of capitulation and give-aways to foreign governments, cash payments of pallets of low denominations of cash to Iran, his shallow ineptitude turned to vindictive pettiness against anyone with a different idea of how government was supposed to work. And our former puke of a mayor, leading the cheers to put a privately owned and operated edifice to this fraud on publicly owned land is especially repugnant. The Obama center will hold nothing of significance and though privately owned and operated, Rahm decided a branch of the Chicago Library will be included, so the taxpayers not only lose public lands, they'll also be saddled with the expense and maintenance of a city facility. Curious to see how all that works out. Its galling to deify a man who is basically all myth. I don't know whose station in life has been improved because of this man. I get the pride factor in the black community having the first African American elected president, similar to what the Irish felt when Kennedy was elected. But the direction of the country went down, as did our stature. Social program enhancements de-incentivized anyone to do anything. To me, Obama became the "dig-me" president. And in his wake, the taxpayers, after realizing they were tiring of political correctness at the expense of higher taxes, more ridiculous policies, unproven theories about climate and extensive new regulations, decided they had enough and so Trump got elected. And the democrats, without the ability to feel shame or embarrassment have wasted an entire term pointing fingers, slandering and libeling, freeing criminals and jailing store-keepers, freeing killers but condemning pro-lifers. Its become too much. With apologies for language I say screw all of them.

Sounds like me after Clinton in 1992. I voted for slick Willy in 1992 but havent voted for a Democratic President since. About 1 year after 1992 we were waiting for Hynes to inject some Mid Western Conservatism to the party but that never happened.

Then Gays in the military and some 19th ward captains were refering to Clinton as Jimmy the second.

Also around that time I heard about some of Clinton's antics the weekend of the South Side Irish Parade in 1992 and realized ...what a stroke.

Clintons antics that weekend were unreal. He showed up with Hillary, at Hynes ward office just prior to marching in the parade and then doubled back that evening alone. They thought nobody knew but everybody knew because Hynes had a driver with a big mouth.

The Chicago Tribune did the same to one of Barack's lesser known Democratic US Senate opponents, Blair Hull. ☹️

Barack didn't serve his full US Senate term (2005-2011). His first three years were gobbled up by learning the job, book your and running for US President. Other than voting "present", I'm not sure what he accomplished as as US Senator. 😮

Rev. Jeremiah Wright is funny. He hates Whites, looks White and lives in Tinley Park, which is mostly White. 😮

Ditto, I wish I had written that, except that I never voted for him at all.

Sadly, I always saw a similarity with Barack Obama in his political career and Cleavon Little , the sheriff of Rock ridge in the movies Blazing Saddles.
