Ex-L.A. Police Chief Charlie Beck named interim police superintendent in Chicago
Beck ruled out becoming a permanent candidate to replace retiring Supt. Eddie Johnson. But he vowed to rebuild shattered public trust and win "buy-in" from a demoralized rank and file while he leads the Chicago Police Department.
This guy will force change.
ReplyDeleteHe will cut top brass in half.
He will hold commanders responsible.
He will force plenty of free loaders into retirement.
He's a placeholder. Put in place until Lori can get her person in place. By the way, did you see the look on the face of the First?
DeleteWow, F.O.P. in trouble!!!
ReplyDeleteAnother carpetbagger in the room. Why would he come here on an interim basis if he does not want the job permanently? Another sanctuary city guy? There should be a bounty on them.
ReplyDeleteHe's a cheap cop that's why. He wasted all his money on cheap beer, needs second job
DeleteOrlando Winfield Wilson was originally interim. Daley 1 permanently I installed him.
DeleteCouldn't pick a better guy. My brother worked AT LAPD. No nonsense, will trim deadbeats at HQ.
ReplyDeleteMarried to black girl.
Are we supposed to care who he married?
DeleteHatchet man for Groot…..
ReplyDeleteOne you go ........
ReplyDeleteOh never mind
Charlie Beck will be a good chief of police. We have faith and confidence in his abilities.
