Despite the reportedly liberal slant to the movie a lot of people say it will be good. I may go see it and hopefully I will be entertained. Hollyweird needs to recognize that people want to go to see these types of movies for the action and for escapism. Hopefully we don't have to endure another politically correct lecture.
What percent of the 13% of our country's population that identifies as African American live in Chicago? Months ago, the Chicago Tribune reported blacks are leaving Chicago which at one time made up about a third of the city's population. The point being, 13% of our country's population has everyone tripping over themselves regarding black lives mattering and stifling 'white priviledge' (their words/not mine).
The other thing I wonder about is the N word. Why is it ok for blacks to use it but whites using it causes an uproar? The other thing is the view that only white people can be racists but not blacks. If the N word is verboten, then it should be that way for everyone, not just caucasians. And if somebody treats you differently because of the color of your skin, that's racist, regardless of what that color is.
