Nice going CSX

All streets blocked from 107th to 119th Streets at Rockwell by a stationary train. Nobody knows why. Traffic in West Beverly and Morgan Park has been turned into a clusterf---. Going on right now. 7:05 PM.

    CSX is untouchable.
They've contributed heavily to Preckwinkle, Cunningham, Gainer, Hurley, O'Shea, Rugai, Burke, Dart, Madigan, and the 19th Ward Democratic Organization.

Hundreds of people witnessed this ambulance with the all its lights on come to a halt east bound on 111th at Rockwell. I will presume they called on another ambulance east of their to complete the run. We need to find out how this ended. Was the person in need able to get to the hospital before it was too late?

  6. As a "Good Will Gesture" the Railroad stopped the train so the Ghetto Rats could spray paint their graffiti on it without having to trot along side the moving box cars.

Train stopped at 99th street. Engineer lives at 99 and Campbell. He’s the guy that makes all the wooden Christmas signs on the block. I would just put lights up. I think the neighbors are bullied into putting them up. The whole block is a Dell Webb community.

Now everyone on the block is starting to buy the same car as this guy, a Subaru Forster. Once again, he’s practicing mind control. He’s like friggin reverend Jim Jones.

CSX continues to overload their trains. Driving to pick up the kids from school 103rd and Rockwell was blocked, making a u-turn I headed back east to Western, then south to 111th, tracks still blocked, then 115th and finally was able to head west on 119th street. After picking up the kids and heading back east, 111th street was still blocked. What is this crap?

If I were in that ambulance, trying to get to Christ Hospital or Little Company and was blocked by the train, I'd have a lawyer filing a suit. This shit continues to go on. I'm not certain what the limitations are on the number of cars a freight train can pull, but they're not supposed to block the intersection for more than 10 minutes.

Oh yeah, and then to add further insult, after blocking the intersection for upwards of 25 minutes, the damn train starts to back up.

What specifically was the agreement CSX made to the ward with regard to their operations?

its pretty bad when the railroad is able to do whatever they want just because they bought a steak dinner for some clown is was too cheap to buy his own steak dinner.

Matt O'Shea should mandate that CSX build viaducts or else abandon the lines.

    1. We can yell & scream all we want, but the fact of the matter is that the Railroads only have to answer to the federal government. They only pay city fines as a good will gesture

Ep mayor put signs up to call csx. He was bringing up legal charges but I believe was told to relax by the 19th ward . O’Shea will be silent on this one. He needs every dime for his campaign and csx spreads the wealth.

Train was waiting to get into Barr Yard. One of many problems facing CSX.
