Kinda reminds me of the 19th Ward Democratic Party who

are embarrassed by the words Merry Christmas. Instead they put up an electric sign at their Mt. Greenwood office, bearing the words "Happy Holidays". Surely they don't want to offend the secularist, pagans and infidels. The pols are fixin to ask for their support in just a few months and if they are offended, they may not vote for the dems.

Votes are more important than traditional beliefs don't you know.

Town hall in Italy removed Christmas tree to not offend Muslims

Like Sweden and other countries in West Europe, Italy is totally cucked.
The town hall of Bolzano, the capital city of the province of South Tyrol in northern Italy, had a Christmas tree removed so as not to hurt the feelings of Muslims.
Rachele Nenzi reports for Il Giornale that on the evening of December 16, 2017, the National Union of Sports Veterans (Unione Nazionale Veterani dello Sport or UNVS) held an athlete-of-the-year award ceremony in Bolzano’s town hall. The ceremony was hosted by Matteo Salvini, leader of Lega Nord, the Northern League political party.
After the ceremony ended, UNVS put everything in place and returned the room as they found it, except for some Christmas decorations and a cardboard Christmas tree.
The next morning, UNVS president Alberto Ferrini was awaken by a phone call from the office of the town hall asking him “to remove that tree because at noon that day there would be a meeting of a Muslim association in the hall, and the Christmas tree could offend the sensibilities of those present.”
Reader Chrysostom puts it best:
But it’s okay to offend us Christians. It means they do not fear us, maybe because we are not armed?

Cook County Board President Toni Prekwinkle has taken in over $25,000 in campaign contributions from Sidney Dillard (Loop Capital) Christopher Melvin(Melvin and Company), David Coolidge III (William Blair), Edward M. Blair Jr.(William Blair) , Elvin Charity (Charity and Associates), Manuel Sanchez(Sanchez, Daniels and Hoffman LLP), Adela Cepeda(AC Advisory) , Charles Bernardini(Ungaretti and Harris), and the firm Ungaretti and Harris, All of these contributions are from firms over which the President has regulatory authority over in the issuance of county bonds.

This was unacceptable prior to October 2, 2013 where she could not accept any campaign contributions from bond council, underwriters council, legal council, and financial manager of the issuances of county bonds. So what we have is after that date she could accept money from those people, anything before that date is illegal per the county ordinance which strictly forbid her from collecting campaign contributions from those people. The bulk of these contributions were made prior to her ordinance cover up and also before during and after Cook County Ordinance 11-O-69 which granted these individuals the right to issue bonds. So when that ordinance was passed she had regulatory authority over these people who she illegally accepted campaign contributions from to issue bonds.

Two years later rather then return any of the money she changed the ordinance, saying she was allowed to accept money from these people. However she was still in the wrong because the majority of that money was not even grandfathered in and was collected before the October 2, 2013 date, so it's still not allowed by her new ordinance and some is still over the new $750 allotment. Basically it's as if the governor hit someone with his car on October 1 2013, and fled the scene. On October 2, 2013 he passed a law saying started from the date stated on this law it's now legal for govenors to do that. He's still not covered by the new law and it's completely unethical and total abuse of power for him to do that. Can someone that violates the law have the authority to change the very law they violated? Same for Preckwinkle and it still possibly violates Illinois law Solicitation Misconduct by receiving contributions from those she has regulatory authority over.

This is all easily proven by searching the records of county board meetings when she changed the ordinance and through searching Illinois campaign contributions.
