Vegas

Official toll was 59 people dead and 539 wounded by 9:00 the next morning. The wounded being taken to local hospitals for care. Many of them having being hit with a .556 round, the wounds were considered serious. Having some familiarity with gunshot wounds, I have to ask why didn't some of those wounded succumb to their wounds? Such a survival rate is statistically improbable. Was the medical care in Vegas that good or is there something else going on?

The 59 figure includes the shooter, so 58 victims. The 539 has been slowing reduced as LVMP get all the data lined up, they were(still are) busy sorting things out. When all the dust clears it will be shown the amount of people actually hit by gunfire will be a lot lower. Many of the injuries were due to trampling due to peoples panic.

It could have been a lot worse had the LV shooter actually been trained and had correct weapon choices. Its terrible to the people killed and wounded but it could have much much worse......
