Man meets his end on 111th Street

A man was shot to death early Thursday in the Morgan Park neighborhood on the Far South Side.
Jermaine Jones, 42, was found about 5 a.m. with multiple gunshot wounds to the torso in the 11100 block of South Ashland, according to Chicago Police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
Jones, who lived on the same block, liked sitting on the couch which was forever in the vacant lot next to the liquor store.  He was pronounced dead at the scene.

And, as friends and relatives describe the victim as a "basketball player", the SW side mourns another of it's sons struck down in the prime of his life. What will the other brain surgeons (wineheads) do now that the perception of safety has been shattered?

I used to take that as a shortcut to avoid the light and one time red light camera that was at 111th and vincennes, but in recent years there were to many negros drinking and holding court on that short stretch of ashland. Was always amazed that streets and sanitation never picked up all the crap that was dragged over for use as chairs, but then that would require some real work.

A bunch of "lazy boys" arguing over who gets to sit on the couch. Amazing

Aspiring rapper? That seems to be the most dangerous job in Chicago.
