Why did the city pay for this?

An Instigator of Racial Division
Black Lives Matter is a BS organization and everyone knows it. It is headed by paid agitators who shouldn't even get the time of day. Yet, the city of Chicago brought 35 of them to Mt. Greenwood on this past Sunday afternoon so they could hurl racial accusations at the library. They brought them in on 3 CTA buses, paid for by the city.

Last I checked, the government was supposed to preserve peace and order. This city government seems to be hell bent on opening racial wounds which healed years ago. The shocking thing is that local leaders went along with it.

This is a little unfair on Matt. He is tasked with walking the fine line between Rahm E. and the neighborhood needs. In most cases he has done a great job. Lets cut him some slack.

Rahm wanted to embarrass Dart on his home turf.

I'm not sure if anyone has noticed, but since Rahm Emanuel has been on the 5th floor, this city's traffic has been complete gridlock. The reason? It seems to be twofold. First: Rahm has dismantled the Department of Streets and Sanitation to the point that every project that normally fell under the realm of the city has been taken over by outside contractors. While that might sound like a boon when he and his suburbanite peons spout numbers of the number of streets being resurfaced, the fact is that these outside contractors communicate nothing to SOS, and rip up roads ad hoc. Further, because they rip these things ad hoc and have been given carte blance by the midget on the 5th, nothing anywhere has been cross-checked. So, while you have the Jane Byrne project going, you also have the teardown of the Western over-pass, Logan Boulevard, entire swaths of the West Side (Sacramento is being torn up by People's and the Like), Elston, Fullerton, et al. All of this within a tiny little area of people. And so, because all of this is going on, you have traffic jams and the time it takes to get from anywhere to anywhere, well, it's horrific. Top that off with resurfacing on Damen, and all of the other nonsense, where developers rip things up, without permits, and you have an absolute nightmare on your hands.

This is all in addition to all of the projects going on everywhere else. All of the projects that have not been thought out. All of the things, like the Laquan McDonald tapes that were withheld so that little Rahm Wilmette Emanuel could remain the Mayor. I know that a lot of you guys think that Dart or Preckwinkle would be a bad choice, but tell me why? This little fucker in the chair on the 5th is much, much worse. He has truly made this city a worse place, from his lying about police hirings to his encouragement of citizens to engage their anger toward the CPD. He truly is the devil, and an inept one at that.

It seems like we're paying for Rahm's miscalculation of the black community's response to the McDonald shooting. The whole embracing of demonstrators, activists and accusers wouldn't exist were it not for Emmanuel's efforts to initially pay off McDonald's family prior to the release of the video. His support in the black community evaporated at the release of the video and since then he's been playing catch up. And in this mode Mount Greenwood has become collateral damage. And the media, and those outside of our community cannot see our neighborhood for what it is. Perhaps a better picture could be drawn if the media were to check with 115 Bourbon Street over any weekend and see how many charitable fundraisers are held there representing people stepping up to help neighbors in need that suffer debilitating illnesses or the surviving families of neigbors who died too young. I don't think you'd find the care and concern for neighbors in need anywhere else in the city.
But that's not the story that sells. The media and regrettfully the newly elevated Cardinal turn a deaf ear and blind eye to the incident that precipitated all the demonstrations in Mt. Greenwood. And yet it was the dedication of off duty police officers, coming to the aid of their neighbors that was misreported. As recent as this morning, the Beal shooting is being reported as an off duty police officer killing a black man. The deceased display of a weapon on a crowded city street gets nary a mention. And our alderman finds himself in the unenviable position of being a politician caught in the middle of quelling an uprising while at the same time remaining politically correct. The facts do not support the racism accusations. Having to answer the false accusations is insulting to us. We live our lives, take care of our kids and our homes, support our churches, pay our taxes and look out for our neighbors. We don't draw guns on each other, engage in incidents of road rage of call our police officers "mother f**k*rs". So why are we the ones at fault. Is it racist to defend our homes, our kids, our community, our neighbors and our sense of what's right and wrong? Its a question worth asking and well worthy of a response from our political and religious leaders.

Frankly, I was a little surprised as to how the city reacted to a bunch of assholes who wanted to come to the neighborhood and start shit. It was all about nothing. It was all about twisting the truth at our expense.
